this guy is the worst teacher i have ever had. He doesn't mention anything in the chapter and his homework is ridiculously over strict and at points expects use to give professional grade insight on government issues that experts don't even have.

Passing Mr. Anderson's class is quite easy, it does not require study or personal involvement. The comments regarding Mr. Anderson are true by the way. The positive and negative aspects are well represented. This is a retired military officer with two Master's degrees teaching at a community college. That says it all really, it is just a class.

Great teacher. Strict, and a bit of a perfectionist. Follow his guidelines, take notes, and show up to class on time and you'll do just fine. His lectures are interesting, and he gives good examples. All-in-all, he does a good job, and you should get an A.

Mr. A while strict was very fair AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THE HW GUIDELINES VER BATIM!!! He docks points for using incorrect font, not following HW instructions, etc. He was my favorite instructor from my first year of college, but that's coming from someone who has 4 years prior military experience. It was a fun class and wish he taught others.

Best teach ever. Crystal clear in lectures and if you just go to class and take notes over what he tells you, you have everything you need to pass the class. Using my notes as a terrible note taker I got an A on every single test. So I knew I could just skip the final. And still pass just fine.

I really think that Mr. Anderson is a great teacher. Yes, you have a test time the class meets but you get to use all of your notes and book. He uses great examples to explain theories and make them click. I recommend him for psychology and sociology. He is great, and at the end of the semester he gives you a boost in your grades.

I'm surprised he has such bad ratings, I thought he was a great teacher. He is a little arrogant, type A and strict but he's funny and I learned a lot of interesting things. He keeps you the whole 3 hours and there's a test every week. The tests aren't hard because you can use your notes. I would take more classes from him.

This guy is definitely a type A personality, he's loud and helpful. The homework is easy, he gives you a study guide, and you can use notes on the tests. He's a bit of a perfectionist so make sure you do the homework exactly the way he says.

Awful. Lectures have no relevance to source material, it's mainly him ranting about how his views are better than everyone else. Took points off mine and several others previous week's hw for using 10 point font, even though syllabus said 10 was fine. Also docked the hw we had just turned in for the same thing. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

His teaching style is ridiculous. I dont even know if you can call it teaching. Its basically a self taught class if you take his class. He thinks there are no excuses for anything. You can only miss one class period regardless of anything. His homework didn't ever pertain to the chapter and half the time just made me uncomfortable.

Anderson is a GREAT teacher. Some people mitght not like his procedures. However, i loved it. YOu always knew what to expect each class period it was wonderful. He can be strict but he has good reason. As long as you take good notes over the chapter you will do amazing on the tests.

He kicked a student out of class because his key chain made a beeping noise telling him his car alarm was going off! Total jerk! Would never take him again!

This professor is very very strict! He gave a lot of homework that unrelate to test materials. Throughout the semester, only 3 students left in the class. It was such a dreadful class and he basically killed the interests I had for that subject. Do NoT Take His Class!!

he was absolutely worthless as a teacher. full lectures were just a big tangent, no relevant information presented. homework is pointless, docked me 50% b/c my views weren't in keeping wth his. wrote "see me for explanation" and proceeded to tear my values apart. sent me home for asking a question about his view. useless. don't even bother.

His lectures are one long rant, where he gets up on his soapbox, briefly hits the headings of his handouts, and then goes on and on about his family, career, how he did what was right in a situation...blah blah blah.
