The material was interesting, but had absolutely nothing to do with the course description. She needs to take a class on how to write tests because her tests are the worst I've ever seen, confusing questions that have little to nothing to do with what was covered in class or what is discussed in the text book. Avoid her at all costs.

I did not enjoy going to class at all. I thought it was boring and useless. What you learn in class is not what will be on the test. Textbook reading is required for you to pass. Tests are 80% multiple choice with only 20% actual questions, which means usually 80-90 m/c and 4-6 questions. Would not take a class with her again.

Her lectures are interesting, but not necessarily what's on the exams (KNOW the text for that). Exams are brutally long (130 m/c + 20 s/a) and detailed. Unconstructively critical on papers. She seems sweet and nice, but beware of her bite when you ask for clarification. Can't say I miss her!

Very nice professor and lectures are pretty interesting. The only thing is she expects you to do all the reading for all the chapters and her exams are brutal! The most difficult test I've ever written in University. 128 m/c questions and short answers and very involved with minor detail info. Liked her as person but didn't like her teaching/testin

I would avoid her if you can. Nice lady, but very inconsistent in what she says and does. For exams you must study everything, she'll tell us something is on the exam, but it's not, and then random info appears on the exam without her telling us. It was frustrating and hard to stay motivated.

Very nice, sweet woman, very understanding. I found the tests very straight-forward as long as you were dilligent in reading the text. TEXT BOOK READING IS CRUCIAL IN THIS CLASS! Would def. take a class with her again.

Diane is a sweet woman but not a great prof. She is accepting and tries to be helpful but usually ends up talking a bunch of jibber-jabber. She has a knack for talking forever without actually saying anything. Exams are hard but if you can weed through her nonsense the general idea is there. Pay attention, read the text and you should be ok.

This is officially the worst class I've ever had! She makes it really hard to even want to attend class, and when you do, you just want to leave early. She goes off topic a lot, and a large majority of the material isn't covered; you're supposed to just read your text and will apparently be fine. The exams she writes are IMPOSSIBLE an very long!

If you can be completely self directed and learn well from reading... go for it otherwise stay away. Does not cover content, tells many personal stories (fine if we are taking a socializing class. Worst mark I ever received in college due to lack of material coverage and no exam reviews either!

Awesome prof; can tell very passionate about what she does and the field she is in. Yes the tests are long, but if you read the text it should be no problem! Lovely person, would definately take another class from her again.

Yikes. Her lectures had nothing to do with the exams...you don't need to go to class to take the exams, but you do need to memorize every word of the text. Her class is boring and her tests are next to impossible. I'd never take her class again.

this teacher has exams that are 90- 100 multiple choice, and then 4 pages of written work, i am not exaggerating, the final had over 100 mult choice, i wouldn't really want to take this class again, she is a nice person, but the class is not worth it.
