Run of the mill TA. Did nothing but work homework problems on the board in class, which was cool, I suppose. He also mumbled to himself while working as the class remained in dead silence, which was kind of funny for a while. Quizzes are easy as long as you've done the homework. He has the "Innsmouth Look" too :P

Epically bad prof. Mumbles to the chalk board. Asks if simple derivatives/integrals are right. Frequently changes example problems so he knows how to do them. I'm an A student, and had to drop the course. Doesn't prepare you for the tests. Aced the class with a new professor. I suggest D. Leach.

He knows his stuff, but has trouble teaching it to the rest of the class. He can do just about any problem you throw at him, but he can just do it...not teach it. He's a really nice and easy-going guy that will work with students and their grades though.

Not so good but there is not really any other good trig teachers. quizes are open book. He sometimes gets confused and doesn't know what to do next. Really nice guy though. For trig final: STUDY EVERYTHING, KNOW EVERYTHING. doesn't write final and can't tell you what to study. Sometimes don't write his own tests. Barely passed and had A in highscho

Horrible teacher, but gives very easy tests and a nice curve. Talks barely above a whisper directly to the chalkboard and never seems to make it all the way through a problem during class. There's really no point of even going to class because you're going to have to teach it to yourself anyway. His tests prepare you for the final very well.

He trys hard to help the student as much as he can, which is cool. His test are easy if you study his practice tests. Oh and one time I saw him at a party sh!t faced, boy that was hilarious. Just know the material before the test and you should do great.

I didn't have any problems learning from this guy. He does tend to make mistakes when working example problems, but he is very persistent about finding out what went wrong and fixing it.

As said in other ratings, if you like teaching Calc III to yourself take his class. If not get another professor. However he makes up for his lack of teaching ability with easy quizzes and tests....just study the pretest he gives you and ace the test.

Way bad teacher. It's not that he doesn't care, just that he's not very good at what he does. If you take his class, be prepared to teach yourself most of the material.

He has little presentation skills. He knows the material, but he has trouble explaining it. He fumbles through things he hasn't already worked out. He takes too long to do examples in class because he won't just give up, and he makes lots of mistakes. You will have to teach yourself!

Do not take this class with him! Might be a good TA for calc 1 but not for calc 3, but mumbles to himself and can't even take a square root. If you want to teach this class yourself then go ahead and take it.

Howard is the****. He'll work on any problem until it's done. If he gets stuck on it he'll figure it out or decide that it is not worth going over because it won't be on the exam.
