Class was boring! It took me 4 tests to understand that I have to listen to the CD to 10songs and try to see which one is the song playing and then find the information on the song. tests: unlimited attempts. This is a self containing class. Positive:you can work at your own pace (dont miss turn in dates)and get done with the class early.

Pointless class. Lame, useless 'self assesment' assignments. Vague teaching concepts. Mr. Megill wrote the textbook used in the class and there were numerous spelling and phrasing errors -- and this is COLLEGE grade? I still received an A in this class but would never take Mr. Megill again.

the best...ever. I contribute all knowledge of anything having to do with sound to Don Megill. His teaching is amazing and his stories are relelvant and insightful. I am so sad his brother and him are retiring. They hold the MiraCosta music dept. together. I hate Christy Coobatis

Great class to take online. You'll be suprised at how much you will learn. The book and listening CD are put together by Prof. Megill and let me tell you, BOTH THE BOOK AND CD ARE PUT TOGETHER SO WELL. I was really impressed.

Took this class online, and it was pretty awesome! It's very time consuming, but you learn a lot. I actually found this class to be easier than the hist. of rock and roll class. The essays are a little easier.It's challenging and fun.

Great professor! He and his twin brother are the greatest. They both make any music class fun regardless of which type of class. I had don twice and it was fun each time. Very recommended!!!

Don Megill is by far the best teacher I've ever had!!! I took his online class and it was pretty easy. He is very understanding with deadlines. I had no interest in taking this class but I'm glad I did. Listening and researching classic music is very interesting. Don is a great teacher and I would recommend his class to anyone.

I took this class as a music teacher and understood it okay. Listening example exams, but there are open book tests on every chapter. He gives extra credit for discussion, HSP is very interesting and enjoyable. Wish this was a classroom, though
