Attendance is important. Weekly reflections due on Wednesday night. Quizzes due Thursday night. Two attempts on the quizzes to receive your best score. Informational interviewpresentation for part of the final. Overall, good teacher inspirational. I took this as a hybrid course so we only had to attend Friday afternoons. Also a counselor.

I took this class because I have been struggling with finding a major. This professor truly helped me have a stronger idea of who I am as a person and what I love to do. I took this class online and went to class every friday, which I actually enjoyed; taking quizzes and doing reflections online saved alot of time from doing them in class. Nice guy

I took this class hybrid. He is an awesome teacher who does whatever he can to help you out. His "extra credit" is helping you form your ED plan! Come on, now that's just awesome!

This class is very helpful for new students and provides all the info needed if you want to transfer. The class isn't fun, a lot of lecture, but Don eases the boredom by giving breaks and letting out a bit early. I really recommend taking this (only 4 day class) and I'm glad I took it because now I know what classes to take at De Anza.

as the first guy i met on the de anza campus, don was super nice and willing to help students in any way possible. he let us out 15 mins early every day of the four day class.

He was the first instructor I met at De Anza! He made me feel very welcome at the campus. He is very helpful and willing to answer any questions. Take him for counseling 100, you will not regret it!

Don't take this class during the school year, take it over the summer and get it done quickly. I learned A LOT in the class and my friends were impressed at how much I knew about what classes to take etc. Also he's a great counselor, he even remembered me from orientation months after I took it. He's really sweet and smart, take this class!

this guy was so down to earth. he didnt want to be there any more than we did on a friday night! he let us out early that night, started us an hour later the next morning, and then let us out again the thats same day. he def mad the class easy to go to.

Great teacher, gives a lot of perspective. Really puts you on the right path, so make sure you take this class before or duing your first quarter. Lots of information so don't miss a class, and not to worry its only a six week class with no final.
