Comment:

Doctor Ramos is such a great guy.. caring and gets to know his students however, he confuses himself which leads to him mixing up his words/teaching us something backwards. The tests were all easy however on the final exam he did not provide partial credit therefore I got one number wrong and ended up losing 7.5 points on one question.

Comment:

Very nice guy, incorporates many personal stories to connect with material. Maybe 1 or 2 homework assignments, 1 group project, maybe 5 tests. Very easy A if you can listen and maintain the information. The textbook is a nice supplement but not mandatory or a necessity for this class.

Professor Ramos is a very good professor. His lectures can be all over the place sometimes, but he's very accommodating and will listen to the students. His tests are fairly easy, but you do need to know what you're doing to some extent in order to get an A. I would definitely take him again!

I take Ramos at Maria actually because he teaches at both schools. He is a really nice guy, not too strict . HOWEVER, his lectures dont really teach you the information, he gives the same examples over and over again and doesnt follow a clear lesson plan. He tells you buy the book, but it covers WAY more material than u ever need to pass tests.

Amazing Professor. He keeps the coursework on the easy side because he knows that the course is not designed for students going into a Psychology major. Very helpful and is very understanding, great Professor all around.

Ramos doesn't make the class challenging. He doesn't integrate research literature, he doesn't ever go beyond an elementary exploration of the subject matter. We are graduate students and our tuition dollars should buy us an understanding beyond what we could get from a textbook. He is also immoral and happy to tell you so. Not a good example.
