Although it can be difficult to hear him sometimes, his lectures were interesting and helpful. The tests are open book (thank god) because there is a lot of material that he won't go over in class. Just make sure to highlight key phrases/definitions, and do the self-tests at the end of each chapter.

In a 8 week class, two quizzes per week of 80 multiple choice and 4 short answers. Comprehensive mid-term and final (tricky, study thoroughly). Answers email promptly, but sometimes not in detail, skips over some of your questions. Lots of reading so stay current. All the answers to the test is not in the power points provided.

6 open book/open note quizzes worth 50 pts. each. But good luck, I can't even promise they will pertain to the chapters or lectures. He lectures in the softest voice about psychologists not on the test. He references sex a lot, especially towards women. He talks a lot, and pretends he wants you to answer questions, but don't waste your time. AVOID!

I personally enjoyed it. If you are self-motivated and pay attention to the book, you should pass. I totally recommend taking A LOT of notes for the chapters. Tests literally take THREE HOURS to do. If you take good notes, you're fine. Cusumano is very hard to understand in emails, so call his office #. He answers questions better on phone.

I love Dr. Cusamano! His class and exams are clear cut. It's very very simple and I don't understand how anyone cannot pass his online course. Never had him for face to face. If you READ and FOLLOW the chapters in the books, his "every 2 week exams ARE DIRECTLY FROM THE READING". If you don't pass online for this course, you're not doing the work.

This class was online over the summer. He wanted us to read three chapters a week, each chapter was about 40-50 pages and we had a 3 hour quiz every Thursday. The quiz was 60 m/c questions with 2 essay questions. That was too demanding for me so I had to drop it.

Took the class online. It was nothing but tests every two weeks. But each test had 3 chapters on the test and each chapter were 40 pages each. Your best bet to pass the class is too ACTUALLY read the chapters. If you read and take sidenotes you will pass all your tests with an A. All classes rely on studying . !

Class talks over him, doesn't try to get them to be quiet. Tests are not represented by what is gone over in class.

This class dropped my GPA. You fly blind on every test. He's a monotone, grouchy old man.

I took his online psychology class and his exams were three hours long. Even when I studied for the exams, his exams left me clueless. I would not recommend taking him. He makes the class more difficult than it should be. It's almost like he wants people to fail. I will never take another class that he is instructing.

His test does not coordinate with the book even though they are open book. His class discussions do not correspond with anything and I know he reads these comments too.

I totally agree with everyone and wish I would've looked at this even blog earlier... He is so off the wall with the questions on the test that even during an open book test the answers were'nt in the book!If you get early you're still late. My class with him starts at 9a.m I show up at 8:45 and it's already started!! He is ridiculous!!

I took his tele-course for Chils Pych and I was less than impressed. I feel like he tried to make the quiz questions hard so that you would read.....However, they were such off the wall questins that I felt dummer for having to search them out. I had to jump around so much in the book that I dont remember any of it ! Take someone else if you can!

I took his TV/WEB course. Worst teacher ever. HE DOESN'T return emails or phones calls in a timely manner. And where he does, he does not answer the questions you ask. i.e I sent an email about midterm, asking about 4 questions, got an email back saying 'ok'. No questions were answered. I have no face to face experience to speak of though.

He's smart but he's cocky. He has a PhD in Psych, so I'm sure he thinks the students are absolute morons. Sometimes he'll even laugh at us if we ask a "dumb" question.
