Franca is super interested in the subjects she teaches and you can tell when she lectures in class. She challenges you to think deeply into the material. Sometimes her lectures can get a little unorganized but she is one of the best teachers i've ever had and i decided on a history minor because of her.

Great professor. Kept class as interesting as possible for renaissance Europe. Enthusiastic and insightful. Knows what she's talking about and it makes you want to learn. Lots of reading and in-class discussion but that's kind of expected for an upper level history course. Fair grader and helpful.
