Course is primarily read the text and take the quiz. I thought the class would be a snooze- but the textbook was good and easy to read. If you are looking for highly technical details, look else where. Well organized and a lot of extra info if you want.

Comment:

The subject is not hard but the amount of work is way too much and HW is too hard. If you take this class, you will not have life for that quarter. Looks like she searches a topic on the web and gives all the links as mandatory study topics. You will have to read and write long discussions, work on website and take quiz every week (some weeks dbl)

Comment:

Took her online Intro to E-commerce course Fall '11. This class is a huge boring time-sink. The text for this class is incredibly dry. Doesn't participate in discussions, answer emails in a timely fashion or teach(feels like ive been teaching myself all term). If you get confused easily, be prepared to ask for alot of help via the disscusion board.

Easy A, Highly recommend. Save money and buy eBook from publisher. Quiz questions are word for word from book, you can search eBook for key terms to get 100% each time. Optional mid-term and final to replace previous quiz scores. Have to design a web site which sounds hard but gives tools to make it easy.

The quizzes and tests were easy, even without reading the textbook. I thought the discussion requirement was unhelpful and didn't promote any actual discussion. Also, you don't receive any feedback on your discussions until the end. If you just want an A, I recommend this class- if you want to learn, I would look elsewhere.

I took an online course with D.Totten for my intro to Ecomm class and found her very orginized in every weeks lesson. The Mid term and final were optional, meaning if you did well on your quizes that are due every two weeks you may just keep that grade and skip the midterm, or take the grade from the midterm if it's higher. I recomend.

Doesn't provide any feedback on assignments at all. Only has other students do "peer reviews". Isn't that what a college instructor is paid for? Reviewing assignments instead of having the students do it for them? Also, the book is the driest, uninteresting, often confusing piece of crap I've ever has the displeasure of reading.

So cut and dry,careless and disorganized.Didn't open the final exam for the online course until 4 days past the scheduled due date.Students kept calling and emailing her.Bad experience.

firt,Don't buy the text book! No book is needed cuz we can fine the whole book in her powerpoint. easy class open note for everything. But she's really unorganized,always late or absent. She dosen't know how to use the new computer system, in a CIS class...waste a lot of time to find out how to use the computer IN CLASS. Highly not recommend.

Her online tests are terrible, answers can go many different ways. I've taken many online classes, and hers was by far the worst I've ever taken. Oh yeah and don't bother asking her for help she won't respond at all. Mrs. Totten give up teaching for the sake of future students.

Her online classes are relatively straight forward. She has been helpful in all communications with her. I don't care for the weekly discussion topics that she requires, but other than that I like the 2 classes I've taken from her.

Delyse was extremely unprepared, unfocused and awkward. I feel like the class was an extreme waste of time. If you want an easy class where you do not actually learn anything except how little the instructor knows about the subject and teaching in general take this class.

if showing up to class with a copy of the instructors manual makes you a professor, then this is a case of that. Do not take economics with dylese totten. You will regret it. Poor lecture, poor content, poor quizes.(class average on quizes was 68%)
