He's a respectable professor and relatively fair about things. Only had one problem with him but it was resolved. I didn't feel like he graded too fairly on one quiz and I went and confronted him in his office and I didn't have anymore issues like that.

Youll be fine if youre a woman. Dr. Wheeler gives slack to females where he crunches down on most students. Had a buddy who was passing with a B all semester and failed the final and he made an F but a girl in the class we knew was failing all semester and didnt know the final but passed the class. He intentionally tries to trick you on tests

He is the best teacher for this course. The material is straight-forward, the lectures are understandable (when you take notes), & his personality is respectable. He tries to get his students to get a feel of what is expected of an engineer by placing a dress code for his class. The exams for his class are very easy if you take the time to read

Had him for an adviser and let's just say that it is almost like trying to get in touch with the dean. He has no time for you and will avoid helping you if he can. As far as being a professor goes, he keeps it simple and clear cut, yet he is very very tricky on tests. Watch out!

Easy class with an easy professor. Come to class and do your lab homework and youll do fine. Take notes on lab material because he doesnt go into much detail. Tests are straight from the book. There is no reason you should make anything below a B in the class.

This guy was my advisor as well as teacher. I went to talk to him during his office hours to get some advice, to my suprise he got up and left the room and never returned! On top of him being a poor instructor, he is an even worse advisor. Avoid him if you can, good luck!

Easy online class. Professor provided very little input and only had graded the first 3 weeks assignments by the end of the semester. I felt like this class was without an instructor. He made no attempt to do his part by giving us feedback throughout the semester. It really blew my mind that the guy could conduct the class so poorly.

I classify Mr. Wheeler as one of those "strange" professors who people always told me I would meet during school. Many of his class rules (the allowable toenail colors for mens' feet, for example) are odd to say the least. However, he is a Republican, so it is understandable.

Professor Wheeler is an awesome professor. He has some weird ways for his classroom, but once you get past that, you should do ok. His tests are "tricky" but are not meant to hurt you, only to see how well you know the information. As long as you are dedicated to school, he will help in any way.
