AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! I have never had such a caring professor that genuinely wants her students to understand the material and do well in the class. There is a lot of work but you learn more than in most classes, especially for a topic that is so important if you are pre-med/vet/etc and will use physiology again.

Dr. Lorr, as others have noted, is a very sweet lady. There is no doubt that she cares about you learning the material! But, as a result of that desire, assignments are extremely time-consuming. Easily 75% of my total course load. Learn a lot, though, and the labs are fun!

Dr. Lorr is an incredibly sweet and caring teacher! Her protocols for lab are sometimes a little confusing, but she is always willing to admit when she's wrong (which isn't often), and loves to get student input for improving the class. She is one of the hardest-working professors I have encountered at Cornell, and is incredibly accommodating!

A very good class for people who are interested in the topics, but VERY time consuming. I spent more time on this class than I did on my other classes combined. DO NOT take if you already have a heavy courseload, otherwise it's a great class.

Dr. Lorr is an amazing person! She may be a bit spacey and kind of strange but she's incredibly knowledgeable and so, so willing to help students out. It's very clear that she really wants students to understand the material, and the class is great. I learned a ton.

Dr. Lorr rocks my world. Difficult and time consuming course but you will learn a lot. One of the only professors you will ever really get to know and talk to in the bio dept. She actually cares about her students. This course should be under her name instead of Dr. Loew, who has nothing to do with the lab.

Really sweet woman. The labs take a while to write but she's extremely flexible and forgiving. She can be a bit of a flake when it comes to being organized and remembering things but she has a heart of gold.

Extremely nice lady. 416 is a hard class and EXTREMELY demanding in terms of time and work. However, she is very flexible and makes the process of getting through the class doable.
