Honestly, you can have THE BEST PRESENTATION EVER and she will find something wrong with it for sure!And while you're presenting, don't think she's paying attention, she's only counting your mistakes! She can be nice but gets snappy sometimes. Her grading system is WEIRD! 3 presentations, midterm & a final which is optional. She is just ok...

She is a very nice teacher. I loved her she is very honest. Honestly if you do the outline and ask her what you need to improve on you'll be fine. The midterm is based off of the book and the final is based off of your notes. If you take good notes and do good on your speeches you'll get an A. BTW the final is optional

Nice teacher, although every topic you seem to pick for presentations is too broad. Tells you what might be on the midterm but there is a lot more added. Nice teacher although if it's not as she would do it than it's not good enough.

Not a good teacher. You can give the best presentation ever and she will find nothing but negative to say about it. Grading system is rediculous, pretends like she giving you the bases of the midterm, only to find the test is completely diff. Very tempered, and at the end of the sem. realizes that everyones failing so gives ton of ex. credit.

This is not a difficult course. As long as you put time into your presentations and study for the midterm there will be no need to take the optional final exam. I got an A in this course. She is a decent professor and not difficult.

She's not horrible, but has a weird grading system. You only need the book for the midterm and final. The final is optional. You don't have a lot of presentations, but she's very critical on wht you choose to present on. She does clip her nails in class which is really gross.

She is very critical of the speeches, and even told us that we could not write a speech on anything to do with food just because she didnt like it. She clips her nails during classes and speeches. Easy class to pass tho

Worst professor ever! Grading system is awkward and has no structure. Is not willing to help at all. I was very interested in comm before her class, now I'm not because she was so awful. Fileing her nails during a presentation? Rude, and shows she doenst grade fair!

Don't waste your time taking McCormack, all you will hear about is the New Haven board of alderman, because she's on it and relates everything to it. She doesn't care about speeches, she was clipping her nails during one in my class.

She is nice. Watch out for the tests. You need to study the text but don't read everything. Take notes and know the diagrams. Make sure you prepare for your speeches and show up to as many classes as possible because you earn points for it.

She's very nice however, don't act up in class or you WILL get yelled out. So, basically, act your age and don't talk back. Lecture notes are straightforward and easy to understand. A bit critical when it comes to grading presentations!
