Dr. Wang is the best. she really cares about her students and wants everyone to pass. she will go over a question 5 times to make sure everyone understands. 3 tests and the lowest gets dropped. the online hw is kinda a lot but it really preps you for the test. she gives sample tests and some of those questions appear on the actual test. take her!!!

Very cool teacher. She is kind-hearted, counts two out of three tests (plus one mandatory final that can't get dropped) and gives curves. Before the test, she uploads practice exams. Sit at the front and pay attention for the best experience.

Love Dr. Wang! She simply wants her students to succeed and cares about them. Is super kind and sweet. 3 tests in which the lowest one gets dropped. A few quizzes where the lowest one gets dropped. HW on the computer very time consuming but helps to learn the material. So great love her.

Best analytical chemistry teacher ever. I love analytical chemistry because of Dr. Jesperson and her. Really respected and helpful. Gives really good feedback on writing assignments as well. If you work hard, she'll give you an A and is also a good friend now.

Took Wang for a Summer CHE course and was amazed. Besides it being a small class which was a plus she ensured everyone was on task and knew the material. Lenient grader and when she gives back test scores she goes over what needs improvement. Truly wants her students to pass. You can clearly understand what she is articulating! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I never usually write reviews but Dr. Wang is phenomenal. I took her class over the summer after doing terrible my first semester of chemistry and it was so amazing to finally find a professor that cares. She cares for her students and makes everything very simple. If you don't understand something ask her for her on the board and she is amazing.

Probably the easiest class I have ever taken in my life. If you just pay attention in class you will do fine. She will happily answer your questions and help you. Usually before a test there is a study session. During this study session, a review test is handed out and it is very similar to the actual test.

Choose her lab class. She gives you the equation and show you how to calculate them, but does not grade the lab or lab notebook. Jespersen lab is hard because he requires details in order to get your notebook approved. If you don't show how to calculate the molarity of an unknown compound, he will not let you start the lab.

She is one of the sweetest chemistry professors at St. John's. Her practice tests are the same format as the actual exams and SOMETIMES she uses the same questions. She is so sweet and is always helpful when you go to her.

Very sweet professor and probably one of the very few chem professors to grade easily. She tries to give as many points as she can on exams & is very kind. Of course you have to study on your own as well (it's chemistry!) but she does her best to explain it as well in class & is helpful if you go to her in her office hours. Highly recommended prof!

This professor Grades really easily and if u can't get an A ur not gonna make it through pharmacy or PA. I did decently on every test and screwed over the finals and still got an A. If I can get a good grade anybody can. As for clarity ask her to teach on the board instead of power points and she becomes comprehensible ;) good luck with her class

If you have a choice between this professor and another, choose her. She is honestly a veryy nice lady and will go out of her way to help you if you are struggling. I got low 80s on her tests, but participated in class A LOTTTT, she remembered my name. Learn the textbook, participate- guaranteed B or higher.

Shes a nice lady and means well but does not know a single thing about teaching it is extremely hard to understand her in class and actually learn. You are pretty much on your own teaching yourself the concepts she gives sample tests which are very similar to the real tests so that helps but that's the most help you'll get all semester.

Hard to understand her. PowerPoint slides possessed mathematical and grammatical error. Wake-up call to what a bad college professor can be like.

She's such a doll! But not gonna lie it is very hard to comprehend her. Read Wiley or the textbook to get the concept and study the sample tests too! They're very similar to the exams. She's very helpful if you go to her. But if you can't study on your own as well then you're just screwed

Do not take this professor if you want to learn something. She does not know how to explain stuff. I worked so hard in her classes to achieve a good grade. But when it comes to practical knowledge I still haven't learned anything. I took Instrumental chemistry (undergraduate & Graduate), and one graduate level course with her.

I absolutely enjoyed Dr. Wang's class. She's always available during her office hours and answers questions during lecture. Even though she has an accent, she will take as much time as it takes to clarify a concept - even during class time (as long as you ask). Tests are straight from the book; this class is very do-able!
