He one of the absolute best professors I've ever had. He has been extremely helpful this entire semester especially during quarantine. He's very straightforward with the amount of work for the semester and offers a lot of extra credit& All homework is due at the end of the semester. Grades are based off of 4 exams, online homework, and extra credit.

I love this professor and I totally recommend him. Attendance is not graded but I definitely recommend attending his lectures because he teaches very well. He gives tons of extra credit and he heavily curves the exams. All the online homework is due at the end of the semester and the workbook homework is optional. Do his practice exams!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The key to passing his class, is doing the homework and understanding the formulas. He allows you to bring formula sheets so know how to use them! Also dont cheat in his class. He will throw you out of the class. The homework is similar to the test, so the best way to study is the homework. If you do that youll have an easy time in the class.

I loved his class. The lectures are a little difficult tu understand because he skips some steps, but if you at this level, you already should know what he is doing. He gives a lot of extra credit and practice test. Do the hw. Dont miss class. I really enjoyed it.

he is a good professor, he gives plenty of extra credit and cares about his students. His tests are tricky since he gives problems that were not in the homework. just do all the problems from each section and you will be fine. Also he lets you use a formula sheet which is extremely good as other professor makes you memorize every formula.

I took ODE twice with him. The first time I never went to class, studied from the book, did hw and failed. The second time I actually went to class and realized he gives everything you need in class, the exact short-equation to solve problems way easier than the book methodology. IF you go to class and do some HW you will do GREAT!!

Ok, let's start with this: Professor Villamor will not teach in class. It's simply not gonna happen. Therefore, the book will be your best friend here. Use his lectures after you read to clarify any doubts and to receive the homework and the extra credit opportunities. As for the tests, the homework is god. Do it, understand it, and you're set.

Great, straightforward professor. His practice tests are extremely similar to the real thing, study it a week before the test and you'll be fine. Don't bother with the optional homework from the book, just look up practice problems on Youtube. Attend his class and take notes, study a bit before the test, calc doesn't get much easier than this.

This professor will curve grades like crazy depending on how the whole class is doing. Calc 2 is a difficult subject for sure and the tests get harder as they continue. Lectures can be boring but are not mandatory. If you do the HW and study a week before the exam you will be fine.

Just like any calculus class, its simply whether or not you put in the effort into this class. His lectures are completely vital to attend to be able to understand the information, and he gives tons of HW, but also extra credit. He's accessible outside and very helpful. Only downside is the only grades you get are the 4 exams. Do the HW and pass.

The practice exams he gives out help a bit. They're worth a look over, but do NOT solely rely on them. The most annoying things he does are stand in in front of the notes while thinking of what to do next (blocking our view) and then erasing pieces of the step he just wrote down before we can write it down. Don't expect to take good notes here.

Seriously, worst class and professor ever. He writes all over the board, completely unorganized and erases before given the chance to finish copying down. He is a TOUGH and strict grader. Your only grades are tests. He will NOT let you retake any test.

Best professor, he is like the actor of mathematics. He makes class interesting by casually screaming and creepily staring and smiling at the class when solving a differential equation which has inspired me to scream and smile creepily at the end of solving my own differential equation.

I love this professor! He's funny and he really knows his stuff. If you are confused or have any questions, just ask him. If you want more practice on the lessons/lectures, I advice you to go to the LA sessions because they really help!

This guy is a great professor. He shows the theory to you, then he does an example. His tests have no theory in them and he gives A LOT of partial credit. The only thing is that his exams are three to four questions. He gives a lot of homework, but does not collect it. He gives exams from previous semesters that are really helpful

Stay away if you can!! I regret picking him. He teaches really fast, gets mad if you ask him questions in class, screams at the class if the class doesnt respond,&his tests are nothing like the practice exam. Not even the homework is as difficult like the test. If youre stuck with get really close to the LA because theyre going to grade your test.

Offered extra credit for three exams, otherwise, his sample tests were nothing like the actual exams. Try to get to know him in his office hours, otherwise he's not going to help you out. He also has your GPA next to your class grade in his office. He makes $100k, yet gives all the work to his LA, who may be the deciding factor in your outcome.

He is a great professor. Definitely knows his stuff and can explain it well. I had him for both Calculus II and Differential Equations, both of which he taught extremely well. He gives extra credit randomly that are applied to your final grade. Sometimes you can even ask for it. His exams are very tough, but the LA's that grade them are lenient.
