There were only two tests in the whole semester, and 5 homework assignments. He gives a study guide which has all of the test questions on it. He does take attendance tho so come to class!

Talks very slowly and spends up to 15 mins on the same slide. Repeats himself constantly and is very rude when you answer a question. He does offer a lot of extra credit. He isnt a good teacher, but his class is very easy to pass. There are 5 labs that you can find all the answers in the slides.

I think Dr. Odemerho gets a bad rap on here. Yes his class is pretty boring and lecture heavy. He is soft spoken and often has to be reminded about assignments. He is very passionate about his home country of Africa and it shows. Must write 2 papers and there are 2 exams a midterm and final.

He's a pretty decent teacher; however, if you have trouble understanding English with an accent, then you may want to avoid him. I found that after a week or so I adjusted to understanding -most- of what he said. I also got an A, so I can't really complain. Didn't take that much effort. I just studied a bit.

Dr. O is a knowledgeable geomorphologist, but he's not a great professor. Material is not challenging, information is repetitive and rudimentary. I don't understand the people who are crabbing about his accent. It's perfectly fine, he just speaks very softly. I asked him to speak louder and had zero issue after that. He gives extra credit!

So yes, he's a VERY BORING professor. I am terrible at geography and I got an A in the class. You have 5 assignment; a few pages of work that you can find in the book. There are 4-5 tests, you can retake all of them except for the final. He is very lecture heavy, and I was usually bored out of my mind. If a 50 min MWF class is avaliable, take it!!!

He is very clear on what you have to do in the class in order to succeed. The syllabus basically maps it all out and the final wasn't cumulative

There's a lot of homework and tests in this class but he's really good about makeups. Overall bad thing is just that his accent is so thick you can't understand him and when you try asking questions he has a hard time understanding you. Tests are just all the homework questions combined and the study guide he provides online.

Horrible professor. Extremely unclear and cannot be understood with his accent. He was reported by 2 classmates this semester for verbal harassment in front of the class. He tends to show up late, usually ten minutes. Reads from power points that He did not make, so we have to correct him when he says things wrong. Worst class of my life.

He is a nice professor and tries to make jokes in class but it is difficult to stay attentive when you are learning about rocks. The grading is very clear and it is an easy A if you download the powerpoints. The questions at the end of the powerpoints are almost exactly like the test. Not too interesting but also not too difficult

Here's how this class works: You show up, get the homework, turn the homework in, or take a test. Other than that, the class is a joke. He lectures the whole time, and nobody pays attention. The test questions are on his website, with the answers in bold, and they're in his powerpoints with the answers too. He doesn't use any other questions.

This is an incredibly easy class if you're willing to read the review questions and do the assignments. That being said, he's one of the most boring individuals I've ever met, he will stop class and proceed to lecture for 10-15 minutes on why you can't have your cell phone out. He also doesn't allow laptops, and will lecture until the last moment.

DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. I'm not kidding when I say he bored me to tears. The class was incredibly easy, but I dreaded going. All he does is read off enormously long power points.

Most boring class I have ever taken but easiest. The class is only 155 points total. 40 of which are showing up to class. You have 5 assignments but 1 of them gets dropped. 4 "quizzes" worth 25 points and lowest one gets dropped and that's it. Study the review questions on his website and questions at the end of his power points andthat's the quiz.

He is extremely difficult to understand, the lectures are monotone and go on the entire class for every class, I basically had to teach myself everything from this class because I couldn't understand a word he say and found it difficult to stay focused during lectures.

Easiest class. He reads off enormously long power points, so bring your laptop or other homework to fill the time. He awards a large amount of credit towards attendance. Test questions are given, with the correct answers, so if you memorize those you're golden and if not he will let you RETAKE the same test. Very little homework outside of class.
