Dr. Bruss has an elevated ego and is very disorganised. Do not let his credentials fool you. Just because he has a PhD does not mean he has one ounce of empathy. He does not interact well with and could care less about his students. Don't expect emails to be returned. His true colors are like a black and white rainbow with sociopathic traits. Run!

Dr. Bruss is truely an amazing professor. He is a genius and knows exactly what he's talking about. He taught me so much and he made me realize that psychology is the job for me. If I were given the chance to take his class again, I would. He is truely an amazing person and an amazing teacher. I am thankful I was given the chance to take his class.

Dr. Bruss is an amazing professor. I learned so much taking his class. He is truely a genius. He taught me so much and if I was given the chance to take his class again, I would. He is a very smart man who knows exactly what he is talking about. He made me realize that psychology is the job for me. He is truely a great person and a great professor.

Gary Bruss is the best professor I have ever had. He is a genius. He taught me so much and I could not have asked for a better teacher. He made me realize that being a psychologist is what I really want to do. He is extrememly smart and a great teacher and also a great person. I really enjoyed his class. Thank you Dr. Bruss

As a professor he is disorganized, can not remember commitments and never seems to give his full attention. As a chairman he is arrogant, pretentious and degrading. Don't ever expect him to listen to you, don't let his degree is psychology make you think he is capable of empathy or the ability to listen! Truly a poor representative of the faculty.

I can HONESTLY say that this man is the most inconsiderate, rude, disrespectful human being I have EVER encountered in my life! How rudely you treat people reflects how pathetic of an individual you are so Gary Bruss you have established yourself to be a miserable human being! This man is the reason I chose NOT to continue my education at Argosy.

Dr. Bruss is a great professor. His class is very demanding, but his level of attention and knowledge of diagnostic pschopathology is of tremendous benefit to the students. This was by far one of the best courses in the program. His course not only helped me to truly understand pathology, but it provided me with direction for my CRP.

A very challenging course with an equally challenging professor. Worth the effort and concentration. Dr. Bruss repeats material that is mandatory and is extremely midful of what goes on around him/in the classroom.

Comment:

Bruss is intimidating at first, but it wares offs. He's very interesting and dynamic. He is a very challenging instructor, but it is well worth the trouble, because of the kind of knowledge you leave with at the end of the course. Most students who complain about him are lazy and lack passion for the subject matter.

Brilliant professor. At first he used vocabulary I didn't understand but by the end of the semester I learned a lot. Definitely take him. He is extremely tough but the experience is worth it. If you attend class, take notes, and pay attention you will be fine. Be prepared to analyze ego functioning...constantly.

Dr. Bruss is very disorganized as we NEVER used the text nor did we ever discuss any relevant topic to the course. He is very biased towards students he favors and is responsive to students who bolster his ego and kiss up to him. It was offensive that he would answer questions from flirtatious female students and ignore valid questions from others

Really demanding teacher, but you have to play his game. DO NOT butt heads with him, he is the friggen dean and will fail you for no reason at all. I learned a lot, but my head hurts cuz of all the material. I thought he was worth the challenge. He's really a genius, but not too personable.

This teacher is a genius but he is a narcissistic ****. He is not personable and you will not be able to connect with him. I suggest taking someone else. He is not worth the hassle.
