An amazing professor, lectures were well put together, answered all my questions. Tests are 99% based on lectures, about 30% of the class got A's.

Comment:

Mr. Powell is exceptional lecturer and teacher. He teaches at true university level, well above JuCo level. His lectures are insightful, provocative, and Socratic. His tests are challenging and fair. You get from his classes what you put into them. Don't take a class from Powell unless you are willing to work hard and be rewarded in return.

Comment:

Although I received a C, I thoroughly enjoyed his class and his lectures. He cares about his students and is very knowledgable, especially in politics and law. Be aware that his tests are very difficult and short on time.

AMAZING. i will take any other class he offers. if you want to learn and want to be inspired take his class. somewhat hard but in a good way, makes you want to listen to him.

He is a very clear teacher, he tells you how he wants things done, he cares about each student and thinks that we can actually be successful in this world. Not hard, doesn't like ****ters, and hopes that you really learn the material instead of memorizing it.

Took his online course, which has 2 exams 50 questions 25 true or false and 25 multiple choice and no assignments. You have to read the lecture material and book well to get an "A". I got a "B" 88% and tried pretty hard. I would say its easy to get a "B", but kind of hard to get an "A".

Prof. Powell is great, he knows his economics. I will take him every chance I get. He is helpful and makes the material easy to understand by aquaniting it to today's economic situations.
