I was burned out on college and almost did not take this course. I broke up with my boyfriend, we cancelled our vacation so here I was on day one.. a day I will never regret! Professor Powell literally made me rethink nearly every aspect of my work. In short, he challenged me. I now run my own successful business. Thank you Profess Powell!

The threaded discussions are great. Professor Powell plucks current events every week and challenges us to not only voice our opinions, but take action! This Professor finds the absurdity in everything from world events to the local city council. I learned things from Professor Powell before they were reported by the news networks! Rock on!!

I wish he could clone himself and teach all my graduate courses. This is my first class with Professor Powell but I can tell you, everything you have heard is accurate. He is super smart, funny, and presents legal, political and ethics in an enlightening way. You will learn far more from Professor Powell in 7 weeks than you will anywhere else

Okay, here's the deal, had Professor Powell in 1981 at Long Beach City College. Went to my Master's Legal and Ethics class and there he is again, though looking much older. I told him so and he stated that I was no spring chicken either. I had forgotten how much I love this man and much I learn. You are like a fine wine, you improve with age!

Professor Powell is the best teacher I have ever had in 8 plus years of university work. And I mean teacher because the man can teach and, as an added bonus, has an incredible sense of humor. I changed my major because Professor james P. He is incredibly intelligent, funny, caring and knows how to teach. I looked forward to coming to class every week and telling my friends and family about what I learned. Incredibly detailed, sharp and quite hot as well. Would recommend him to teach all my classes. This Professor is A.W.S.O.M.E He is really really C.O.O.L He don't give any homework at all. And for the whole term, we only have 2 test and a final. It's an open book and notes. Can you imagine how easy he is. I'm telling you. Take all his class .
