Jimmy is THE BEST teacher I've ever had. I can't imagine a human being can be this warm and talented before I know him. He is the best teacher and a great photographer. And Sid who teaches with him is also GREAT. He is a master of printing, and he is also incredibly warm and sweet.

Jimmy is by far one of the best teachers Ive ever had. I only took his class for one semester, but it was honestly such an amazing time in his class. Hes so genuine and nice and one of the most caring human beings Ive met. He truly cares for his students and the work they produce.

Taking Jimmys classes were some of the best decision Ive ever made during my endeavors at SVA. He is down to earth and goes beyond for his students. He is inspirational and well respected in the field. I would highly recommend his classes.

Jimmy is the absolute best. I would go as far as to say that he practically made my whole year. He is supportive, hilarious, critical, and just overall kindhearted. He's not going to critique your work to the point you break down on the floor and cry, but ask for a harsher critique if you need it!
