The man is the most knowledgeable, brilliant, hilarious, generous professors out there. Those calling him arrogant are quite mistaken. He is deeply humble, but enthusiastic about his subject matter. One of the best teachers you will ever encounter.

Amazing prof. He can be intimidating at times because of his sarcastic nature, but I loved the class. He is really helpful with critiquing your creative work. I left the class a better reader and writer. Anyone who says he sucks probably didn't do well in his class. He is a tough grader, but you ss ould now that going into the class.

Great guy, animated and hilarious lectures... even though he does them off his notes, it isn't stiff, it's a nice blend of scholarly and improvised.
