I have had her for two classes. Avoid her if at all possible. She is rude! And if you want to do well on the test, you basically must teach yourself. Read the textbook and just take it into your own hands.

DROP THIS CLASS ASAP! Kennedy is NUTS... she is not helpful. If it weren't for her graduate student I would have failed the class and I have made A's in every single one of my psych classes prior to this one! STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM KENNEDY AS POSSIBLE!

This woman is NUTS.... She gives no notes, does nothing in class and then creates this test that will blow your mind!!!! She thinks the subject of "Psychology" should be like NUCLEAR SCIENCE just because she is a PHD...... Tricks you into mistakes on the tests!!! DO NOT TAKE HER CLASSES. Send GSU a MESSAGE that we want her GONE!!!!

DROP THE CLASS!!! Her tests do not cover what she wastes your time with in class, nor is she helpful in understanding her CRAZY grading method (which allows her to play favorties!)This teacher should retire quick!!! Worst teacher I ever had at GSU......seriously the WORST. Very Sarcastic, she tries to make the subject so difficult!!!

TERRIBLE. Tests do not reflect class content. Took days to go over a few ppts & then crammed everything in 1 day right before the test. No clear grading method for essays. Rude & not helpful in person or email, especially concerning grades. Ruined the area of Child Psyc for me

You have to read the book to do well. Her exams do not reflect what gone over in class. She can be VERY rude. She has some arbitrary method of grading projects. Exams come straight out of the book. I did not care for her at all.

take her! alot of people think she's hard but as long as you go to class and add stuff to your powerpoints then you will be fine!!! throughout the semester you have to write 2 papers that accounts for 20% of your grade,but she grades them really easy!!so just go to class, take notes, and study for the test and you will be fine!shes a great teacher!

Absolutely AWFUL. She took a potentially very interesting subject, and ruined it for me. Her tests do not reflect what she teaches. She can be very rude, apathetic, and condescending when you have questions about the material. Words cannot even describe how frustrated I have been with this class. I would not recommend this teacher to anybody.

This class is fairly easy. It can be EXTREMELY boring. You can only miss 2 classes before it starts dropping a letter grade every time you miss the class. This is the first year they have done FYE so it may get better with time but she really had no idea what she was doing. There is a paper and a presentation at the end of the semester. Be ready!

took her for child psychology. was very interested in the subject before the class, didn't learn anything NEW! book was hardly used. does projects throughout, those are pretty easy. tests are extremely hard and do not reflect what is taught in class. funny. very disappointed.

As with any grad course, the tests were extremely difficult. There were one or two who didn't even finish. But that being said, she is extremely fair in grading and is very easy to talk to. She also has a wicked sense of humor!

Had her for Child Psych an honestly she was is one of the few teachers as GSU that i didnt like...test are very difficult and dont reflect what she discusses in class at all! To make a good grade on the test you pretty much have to memorize the chapters

One of the best! she's hard, but you will learn alot. I'm taking her for Research methods now and she is extreamly helpful!!! She has a good sense of humor and you have to pay attention to catch the funny stuff. Just don't get on her bad side. If you stay on her good side (everone starts there with her) she'll give you all the help you need.

This is perhaps the best instructor at GSU. SHe is very sharp, and you learn a lot from her. I would recommend this instructor to all students in psychology. She's not easy, but you will walk away much more knowledgeable!
