Do not take her if you have other obligations. Took her in Summer term B, and she went thru 3 modules a week. Something due every single day. I've taken probably 20 online classes and never experienced something like this. Extremely difficult. Her lectures are Crash Course videos. No time to fully get a grasp on the materials because of her methods

Janie is a great professor but the class has a lot of content. She comes in pumped and excited to teach so that makes learning the material a little easier. She has a quiz at the beginning of almost every class which can serve as a refresher on the content, just make sure youre prepared. I didnt get the textbook but peers found it helpful.

You'll need the book. Get ready to do a lot of work, this isn't the class you can coast by and get an easy A or B. She makes you work pretty hard for it. She's pretty well informed and she wrote the book that you will be using. Not a bad professor, just make sure you're ready for the workload and plan accordingly with your other classes.

Janie was awesome. Intro to Psyc. was my first three hour long class. I was amazed at how focused she kept the class with it being that long. I was never bored and did not feel the need to check time. She is very interested in her field and that kept me interested. Just look like your paying attention and you son will be.

One of the best professors I've had. She was the author of the textbook we used and extremely knowledgeable about psyc stats. She was able to explain things in a way anyone could understand. If a student did not grasp a concept she made sure they understood it before class was over. Prepared me completely for research methods.

This class was super easy. Janie gave numerous homework assignments using SPSS and doing APA style results, but all of it is necessary and helpful to understanding the material. The class is fun and very chill. She kind of pissed me off with responding to emails at the end of the semester, but overall she's very helpful and I'd take her again.

Janie is one of my favorite professors, she's funny and super helpful. Attendance is mandatory, but she makes you want to go to class. She gives homework almost every class but it's not difficult and helps your grade. Her tests are like every 2-3 weeks so there's never too much material on them. I would take this class again for sure! Loved her!

While the lectures tend to be very dry, the tests are very comprehensive of the textbook and connect material. Funny professor, tends to ramble about certain class subjects during the lectures. If you read the text and come to class, you should make an A!

She's fun to listen to and she makes psychological stats an enjoyable subject. If you need help on anything, she's available during office hours and she suggests using the Peer Mentoring Center for outside help.

Lectures are inconsistent with exams. Spends the entire class focusing on the math, but then changes the test to conceptual information a couple days before. Very passive-aggressive, as well as dismissive. She's not a bad person, but she needs to completely change her approach to teaching this material.

In the classroom, she is great. When you get to know her, though, she is egotistical, petty, and vindictive. Do your work and try not to interact with her if you can. You'll be fine if you do that.

Won't lie - advanced psych stats is NOT an easy course. Material can be difficult to grasp, there's a HUGE project due at the end of the course, and hw after almost every class. However, Janie's a great professor. She's funny, easy going, and literally wrote the book. Could be one of the hardest A's to get, but you won't learn more from anyone else

Great teacher! I had her for a summer semester (4 weeks) and learned a ton! She lectures from start to finish and uses power points. You will take a lot of notes, so take paper. Tests were 90% notes and 10% book. Class was very interesting. As long as you're a good note-taker and a good listener you'll be fine.

Janie is cool and funny, however her tests are sometimes focused on some irrelevant information. She gives study guides that help. 4 test (last one cumulative), psych research study worth 10% of your grade (very EASY)... 3 extra credit points offered that are added to your final grade so if you have an 87 and you do the ex. credit you'll have a 90.

Janie's pretty cool, but there were times that she wasn't that helpful. The good thing about her stats class is the homework, I had a low C test average but my homework brought my average up to a high B.

She is really nice and helpful. Her class is interesting, and she is funny, but it is the last and hardest core class I have had to take. Her test are hard and there is a a lot of questions that come only from the reading. You will have to study almost everyday and work very hard to get and A. I took it over the summer so it may be different.

Loved psych stats! Janie was awesome. She takes the time to explain stuff if you do not understand. And she is really good with helping you outside of the class. Homework is assigned daily, but its usually only a few problems. There are multiple tests, but they are easy. I would recommend her!

This class is so hard and she doesnt really help much. One of the books is really your only guide. Any research methods class is going to be hard but she gives little to no explanations even if you ask her during office hours. she is also very unclear with due dates and gives you last minute assignments. take someone else.

One of my favorite professors thus far. Has a lot of energy and makes jokes. Class was interesting. She's very helpful and tests are easy as long as you go over what she tells you to. I would HIGHLY recommend her. Took psyc stats with her and it was a breeze.
