Shes not horrible, but not the best if you do well on the homeworks and study her handouts you'll be fine just don't rely on her teaching techniques because they suck. If your good at teaching yourself take it!

Comment:

Miss Carr was the most amiable math teacher I have ever had and i hate math. Her pace was perfect for me, she was very tolerant of people's mistakes and their needs for repetition. Her tests were straightforward and easily done if you did the homework and studied. I really enjoyed her class.

she is kinda bad at teaching but is very organized. all HW is done online. before the test she gives u a practice one that is almost identical. drops your lowest test score. LENIENT-will let u make up missed work. take her if u can learn on your own. intelligence level of the class is low...

Without the text book and the online homework, I would not have learned anything from this class. Don't ask questions if you take her class because she will confuse you further and never really answer your questions. Their were a lot of bright people in my class and none of their questions were answer thoroughly.

I would't recommend this class. On more then one occasion I found her answers to be wrong. She doesn't know how to explain anything and her examples are confusing. In this class we had to rely on a computer program ($55 if you don't buy new text) to teach us. Beware-she takes off points for not explaining on the test but she doen't give warning.

this is by FAR, the worst math teacher i have EVER had. she spent more time putting us into groups and asking what our plans are than teaching math. THIS LADY SUCKS! unless you enjoy being taught by your fellow classmates, who dont themselves know what is going, don't take this teacher. thanks mrs. carr for making life WAY harder than it need be

The only way I passed this class was to teach myself the math off the book. I wasn't too big on her teaching style so I had to do it myself. I asked for help sometimes but the majority of the time she put everyone into groups in order to teach each other. She's a nice lady inside but could work on her teaching methods.

She seems to confuse herself a lot, and she would always ask the class "am I right?" This seems to me a REALLY bad thing, as she is THE TEACHER, and should KNOW if the answer she got is right or not!!!

This teacher reflects poorly on Foothill college. I can honestly say that this is the worst teacher I have ever had. She is a nice person, but teaching math is just not her forte.

at times she can be a little confusing & unorganized about her own teachings, but gets the material across. to understand/get through the class, just make sure to study the book & know material. then tests & quizzes won't be too hard. or go to math center
