He is one of the nicest and most helpful teachers I have ever had. He really wants everyone to do well and is always there to help. I had a lot come up while in his class and he was more than willing to let me make everything up. If you show up and try -- it is an easy A! I highly recommend taking him!

Comment:

Ahh this class is hard. I have him for newspaper editing and though he is a good teacher, the work is so ridiculously hard, you must memorize everything. I've always been great at grammar and finding errors but in this class errors are seemingly invisible. Good teacher, hard class. Let it be known. I'm not sure what grade I have but I'm scared.

He knows his stuff. His AP style quizzes are kinda' hard, but as long as you read ahead of time they aren't impossible. I enjoyed the class even though I am not much of writer.

There is a test every Friday but it is very helpful. Dr. Swain gives lots of help when needed and is very good at explaining tuff things in editing.
