Very easy class. Nice teacher who gives great feedback. A quiz on every chapter on the book and then makes you read and analyze the book hunger. Some papers to write but they don't require much research and the final is mainly definitions and an essay. Easy A - def recommend.

Comment:

Such an amazing and down to earth professor. Few quizzes and journal entries based on class readings and one final project (of your choice) that you get to work on throughout the semester. Class discussions were always interesting and engaging. This class was truly inspirational. Would definitely recommend her!!!

Absolutely amazing! I recommend everyone to take her class. Youll learn a lot and it makes you reflect on your own life and it may change how you view certain situations. Great discussion class. Dr. Ellis is engaging, funny, and her accent is amazing. Will definitely take another class with her. Now Im minoring in women & gender studies

Great book choice! about 50 pgs of reding each week. interesting material though. She is very nice and reasonable. She loves participation but makes it very easy for you to want to engage. There is something due each week, but nothing tedious (either short quiz or 2 pg typed response to reading) Awesome teacher!!!

Took her for women's lives. Very interesting class discussions and excellent choice for text book, but expect to read an avg of 50pgs per week. She tends to grade with quantity over quality but is pretty fair. Participate a lot she loves that. Attend class cuz she gives a quiz every week based on readings. Paper was to interview a woman u know.

Great professor. Class quite easy, altough there was heavy reading to be done. Weekly quiz were fairly easy. Extremelly lenient on grading. She does not explode when someone says something stupid. and there are alot of stupid people in our school, including me.

next semester i might take a women's gender studies course again just so i can have Dr. Ellis. even though she gave me a D..its all Good..i expected that since i didnt do anything! her topics are very interesting. good readings...and she's pretty hot with the english accent.

Very awesome course. Something every student should take. Dr. Ellis is a pretty easy professor, though the weekly readings can get to be a bit much. as long as u have a fair understanding of the readings, you will do well on the quizzes and class discussion. I wasn't too interested in women's studies, after Ellis' class my interest has grown.

Dr.Ellis wasn't a good teacher to me.She made us read too much for Women's & Men's Roles in Relationships class.I thought we were going to talk about relationships, but that wasn't the case.We talked about race, class, body image, dominance, etc.BORING!!!She keeps you there for the whole 3 hours...I dreaded that class every Wednesday.

Ellis is a great teacher. very clear notes / not too long. Starts class off by a short quiz usualy 5 short answer questions. There is a lot of working in groups. Easy and fun class assign. Its my best class of the week this semester. I actually look forward coming into her 3 hour class.
