Nice Professor. There were a lot of little tests here and there but if you study moderately, you will find them easy. He tells dry jokes in class and takes attendance randomly. Also curves.

Great professor! Lectures are straightforward with everything you need and tests are very easy and every test has super easy extra credit questions. Theres also other extra credit options and homework is easy. Very smart and friendly I would love to have him as a teacher again.

One of the best professors at UMBC. Professor Palmateer is very easy going, and good at explaining course materials. You should pass with an A or a B if you go to every single lecture. He gives out extra credit for attendance so make sure you go to class . You don't even have to read the book if you go to class. Overall one of my favorite professor

Class is boring. All Palmateer talks abbout is pizza and cheezi sticks. Guy brought his kid to class on multiple occasions and the little f-er was soo annoying. To top it off he brought him the day before the final, so we got absolutely no review done. Stay away from.... Take Farrow if you actually want to learn and get a good grade
