Comment:

One of the best professors Ive had. She really gives a lot of extra credit opportunities, in general a lot of opportunities to pass the class. Her exams are a mix of both lecture and book so its really necessary for you to be in class otherwise youve just missed a part of the lecture part of the test that the book doesnt cover.

Comment:

Professor Wolfe was a very laidback lady who didnt care whether you were in class or not, but she does give pop quizzes. I learned her schedule so I knew exactly when shed give a quiz, so I passed with flying colors and very little studying

She explains very well and her lectures are interesting. Quizzes are very straightforward from the lecture. As you thoroughly read the textbook, exams are also straightforward. I highly recommend to take her class.

One of the best professors Ive had, very easy going. Only two assignments in the semester. Lectures are amazing and teaches them very well. Expect quizzes and only 4 exams. Extra credit is given. Drops lowest exam and quiz score. very easy class. Just show up and read the textbook and study and an A is totally possible

Comment:

Professor Wolfe is an amazing teacher. Receiving an A is very much possible, however, you do need to read the textbook, go to lecture, use either or both psych lab and the study guide that the library provides (she'll explain more about it). She covers the hardest sections in class and is more than happy to answer any questions before/after class.

Jeana has to be the more inspirational professors I have ever had. Her classes were very lecture heavy - however, she writes everything in a very clear and organized manner making note taking easy to refer back too. Always open to further discussion and questions. Seriously such a sweet soul. Highly recommend Read the chapters, and youll get the A

J. Wolfe makes learning fun & gives plenty of opportunity to do well in the course. If you want a good grade, show up & listen! Take good lecture notes (she makes that so easy) do the work, study, and enjoy yourself. Start your paper early and do the hard work up front. You won't regret it. I wish I could take her with me to CSUF. :)

Jeana Wolf is the best psych professor I have ever had! I took her Psy 161 Stats class and I am TERRIBLE at math but she made it so easy to understand! She takes extra time if the class does not understand and will help you to pass. She shows her care for her students and goes above and beyond for use to pass! Definitely take her if you can!!

Hands down one of the best teachers i've ever had. Jeana Wolfe keeps her lectures interesting and I really loved how she relates the material you're learning to life outside of the classroom. All the material was clear if you payed attention to her lectures, just get ready to read the book; you'll need it! Would highly recommend taking her class.

Jeana is awesome, she made the class entertaining, and is truly caring and passionate about what she does. Unlike other professors, she makes sure to tie material to real-life scenarios. To get a good grade, you MUST attend lectures. There are plenty of extra credit opportunities which come in handy, too!

I do not understand any negative comments for this professor. If you show up to class, pay attention, do the work and study, you will pass. If you struggle, use her office hours and/or the tutors! I saw her every week after class and I am grateful. I loved her lecture style, as someone who struggles with note taking, she made it very easy for me.

This is the PERFECT teacher you want for a college experience! Jeana puts plenty of care and thought into her lectures. She is very prepared, very organized, gives plenty of extra credit opportunities, and she truly cares about the students getting good information to relate to their lives. Excellent professor!

LOVE THIS WOMAN SO MUCH!!!! She is such a genuine light to this world.. yes i am a psych major but she cares about all of her students. You will not regret taking her, I never write these but she is straightforward with her lectures & offers extra credit. TAKE! (probably got an A)

There are NO pop quizzes & Jeana is always helpful if you ask. I took this class twice & passed this semester. Stats is not easy but Jeana & her SI leader are both helpful. 5 exams are good bcuz the material is spaced out. HW is based on lecture, there should be no surprises for you. Office hrs are available if ur struggling. Use them!

Gives 5 exams and random pop quizzes. she wasn't particularly helpful in what we had to study for for the tests. Expects you to read book with no guide to what to really focus on. Spends too much time letting class share stories of themselves which isn't relevant to class. Wouldn't recommend taking her. She needs a better teaching style.

While this course is entirely lecture, Jeana presents in a way that keeps you intrigued. She's very clear on the subject matter, and will work with you one on one if you have trouble understanding a concept. Every now in then she'll let people drag on a little long with personal anecdotes, and make sure you read the book!

Comment:

Best teacher I've ever had. I HATE math but Jeana makes stats sooo passable! You can't miss a class or you are VERY behind and the tests are a bit hard but its math so its not like another teacher would have easier tests. She makes everything easy to understand and she walks around answering everyone's questions. SHES AMAZING, definitely recommend!
