A darn easy class with a prof who was darn helpful 1-on-1. If you aren't interested in the content, that's on you (college = self-motivation). She may seem a little zany, but she's very knowledgeable of linguistics/grammar.

the students did the brunt of the work through presentations of each class, and many found her unhelpful, but i enjoyed her. we covered alot of information in a short period, but she gave a study guide for everything that would be on our final. it's more of an independant class, but i would take her again.

hum lit...She is really nice. Clarity is an issue. But you dont have to go to class and you can still get an A... Its so easy you might feel like its a waste of time.. but as long as you read along everything including the tests are a very easy! I say take her...

She is kind of all over the place, which give you the impression that she has no idea about anything, but in reality she does. She really tries to get the class involve, but hardly anyone participates, but you should. She really doesn't explain the assignments that well, but half the time you can just make stuff up to show effort. You'll do well!

Man I must of been spoiled as a student at MCCC, getting an English prof. from UPenn compared to Dr. Fontaine. She isn't exactly clear (especailly discussing poetry), and she doesn't really speak loud enough for you to hear in class sometimes. I love literature but some of her selections were less than intresting ("Calculating God"-Bad book!)

Her class was really boring, but she tries to encourage discussion. I didn't really learn what I was hoping to, but it wasn't a horrible class. There are no tests...the only grades are a paper, and a project. It was an okay class...

EASIEST ENGLISH TEACHER EVER!!! You don't take any tests and you only have to write a couple papers. Your final is a 10 page paper on a topic of your choice! She doesn't really know what's going on though.

i hated the content of the course, but she herself wasn't too terrible. quizes were worthless, no tests, papers were just b.s.ing as long as you could... mediocre at best

her class was really easy as long as you did the reading and did the journal assignments...there were only two major papers and she didnt really grade them too hard. She would give out quizes and as long as you had read the questions were so obvious it was impossible to fail.
