Dr. C was good overall its the material that was hard. You have to study and ask questions or you will get confused. There is an extra credit opportunity, but dont rely on that to save your grade. Just show up to class, pay attention, and STUDY!

I get the sense that she used to be very passionate about her subject, but that she's become more cynical over time. She'll take time to rant about political ideologies and just be unprofessional. She's also extremely disorganized with tests and curriculum to the point where the TAs have to clean up behind her. It's awkward.

This class was definitely interesting and I did learn a lot. However, some parts and projects were super disorganized and nothing was graded until the last week of class. If I took again, I would try and be on top of all the assignments more and make sure to ask about grading and stuff earlier on.

I took it as free elective and expected it to be a very interesting course. It turned out to be disorganized and cynical. Do not hold your breath on grading. Additionally, exams are frustrating and poorly worded. It is possible to do well in this class and my grade won't suffer, it was just disappointing.

Professor Cambell has a very messy teaching style with powerpoints with next to nothing on them, and she expects you to remember the smallest of details from her stories in class. She picks obvious favorites and doesn't give any attention to the other students. The final project is being made as you complete it and it always changing. Would NOT tak

Lots of homework for a class that should be fun. Group project was a disaster. Was interested in animals before this class, left feeling quite resentful of pretty much everything.

Dr. Campbell is nice but extremely scatterbrained, there is no organization to the class. She is a very tough grader, don't be fooled by the grade distribution from previous years. I was really looking forward to this class but it has been quickly turning into my least favorite class this semester. There is very little guidance for all assignments.

I really like her but she is super disorganized. You def should get the textbook b/c her ppts won't stand on their own. She's funny and nice and I enjoyed the class but it got really frustrating at times.

A really interesting class, but may overload you with important information. Campbell has realistic expectations, though. Read over her powerpoints before the test, and come to class, and you're pretty sure to pass.

Lectures are great. They're mostly discussions with some lecture. Prof. Campbell is an amazing lecturer. Unfortunately she is extremely disorganized. At least for this class. If it weren't for her TA's nothing would have gotten done. My test 1 wasn't graded until finals week. It's a great class and I recommend it, just be prepared for late grades.

Has great stories and examples, but extremely messy teaching style. Has a tendency to switch due dates so much that it's stressful and disorienting. She's nice outside of class, but wastes time in class going on political diatribes instead of lecturing on actual material. I learned a lot, but had to sift through a lot of mess to do so.

I really like her as a teacher. She's a little scatterbrained sometimes, but she's extremely knowledgeable and passionate. I actually like when she gets "philosophical." It makes you think. But you do learn a lot of "real" info and all the aspects of animal keeping. If you go to class and study, you'll be fine. And actually learn something neat.

Nice person but Messy! hard to follow with your book since she uses diff books. The subject is interesting and she is funny and caring but it is also complex and she wants to cover everything in a short time. Tests are very tricky (the average for the class was 60-70s), she had to curve every test. Prepare to read a lot. Though grader.

As a senior, Dr. Campbell is by far my favorite professor! She worked really hard to make the class interesting and easy to comprehend. She made sure to be available to help students when needed and she was just a wonderful professor. It is evident that she wants her students to succeed.

I love Dr. C, but this class was a little rough. It was based mostly on discussion, so the only grades were a few little projects/essays and weekly discussion posts and readings. There's a big group project at the end. The readings and homework were tedious and long, but the topics and discussion were really interesting. Definitely made me think.

Go to class & copy down what Campbell says. She tries to give extra info to people who attend lecture; it doesn't work. It's is a lot of material. Find a study group to get through it & clarify concepts. I'm a bio major w a background in phys. & still fought for a B+. She gave extra extra credit just to save the class, use it. Exams are awful.

I really liked her. Lectures are kind of long and fast-paced, but she posts the PowerPoints on Moodle. She's pretty funny and tries to make class interesting when she can. Her tests are nit-picky though, and can be tricky, but she curves them and if you study you'll be fine. I was inspired by her as a person, and plan on taking more of her classes.

Random attendance checks- pop quizzes or games relevant to course.

Dr. Campbell is an amazing person and professor and if you are passionate about animals you will find this class extremely interesting and rewarding. Yes her tests are hard and at times they may seem unfair but if you actually but the effort into studying you will do well. Going to the review sessions helps A LOT before exams!
