Comment:

Great professor, fun personality. I really enjoyed his class. It was very writing heavy, but I would expect that from an English class. He is a very fair grader and seemed to really want his students to become better writers after taking his class. My writing significantly improved because of his English 110 class.

Comment:

I disagree with some of his teaching methodology (not using the online classroom, emphasis on memorization for its own sake), and hes occasionally a little pretentious, but he makes poetry actually interesting, and runs a very engaging class. Has a strict but generous attendance policy, and is very willing to work around your schedule.

Poetry class was very fun, I've really enjoyed with Prof. Glazier. He is fun to talk to and always in office whenever you want to stop by and say hello. Class feedback and individual comment was incredible.

Comment:

Apart from being the most beautiful person at ODU, Glazier was also an amazing professor. His class really did make a much better writer. Also, he assigned 'A Passage to India' for us to read, which turned out to be one of the best books I've ever read. Lots of reading quizzes and a reasonable number of papers. Great professor, would recommend.

Comment:

Be prepared to do tons of reading and for several assignments to be do the next class. Professor Glazier was a wonderful professor I admire his love for English. Overall this class has made me a better writer. If you want to pass just do the readings and miscellaneous assignments so that if you don't do well on a paper it won't hurt your grade.

This was a writing class so writing papers is expected. I selected that he's a tough grader, which he is, but not in a bad way. His class requires you keep a journal which you will have to write in for every day of class and we had three big papers. Even though it was a lot of work, I feel like I am an exponentially better writer now than before.

Notebooks are the most taking time homework assignment in this class. Writing poems were fun and poet project was inspiring. Portfolio of poetry was great idea for English and art majors! You get to revise a lot and see what you were thinking in the first draft! Awesome professor

Glazier is one of my all time favorites. He loves what he does and it shows. He expects you to work for your grade and wants input from his students. Poetry is his specialty. Recommended to English Majors. You will write in a notebook and it will take you a lot of time. Don't slack on the Notebook!!!

This was an honors course so naturally it was difficult and involved lots of writing papers. However, I learned a lot from him and really enjoyed the class. He introduced us to so many new things, and several things that I wouldn't normally find interesting. I will always remember Dr. Glazier fondly!

I've had Jeremy for a couple of different classes. He really wants you to succeed, and puts himself in a position where you can ALWAYS ask for help. He will get you to think about things you haven't, and ask you to answer some tough questions, but it's 100% worth it in the end. Great man.

Jeremy is one of the most helpful professors I've ever had. He's always willing to hear you out. He's got a terrific sense of humor. His classes require a lot of reading and critical thinking, but he grades rather easily and is very open-minded. He's a really great guy.

Prof. Glazier is awesome! I've had him for numerous classes, and they've all (w/the exception of one) been great! I would recommend everyone take at least one of his (smaller) classes. I mean, I failed one class because I never went and never did any of the assignments (that was the one class I didn't like-group work...agh!!), but I still love him!

This is my thrid class with Prof. Glazier, and I just adore him! He truly enjoys what he is doing (as all teachers should), and his love of English is enough to make anyone interested. Admittedly, there is a lot of reading! Also, I understand that he reads these forms, so if you are reading this Prof. Glazier: I gave you a chilli pepper! *wink* ;-)
