Very sweet lady with good intentions, but not good at teaching the material. lectures are confusion and never really relate to the quizzes. You never really know what she is asking you to do, but her grading is very specific.

Try to avoid this class if possible. She is passionate and animated in lecture, but is so hard to follow that almost nobody in class knew what was going on. Quizzes are open-ended questions, and she wants exact wording, which is very difficult when her lectures are random. Great heart, but very scattered. Very frustrating, time consuming class

Attendance isn't mandatory but if you go to class and take notes on what she says, this class isn't hard. Dr. Graham is very skilled in what she teaches and wants you to succeed. She helps a lot with understanding what you did wrong on quizzes and papers and helps you understand how to do better. She's caring & one of the best professors I've had.

Possibly the worst professor I've had at Auburn. Her lectures can be very unclear and scatter-brained. Grading criteria is unclear on quizzes which have 5 questions yet are worth 35% (more than your final exam) of your final grade. I would wait to take this class until you can take it with another professor. Class with her is very unhelpful.

Possibly the most scatter brained teacher I have ever had in my life. Class is mandatory to graduate but you'd rather have less hours than attempt this class with this awful teacher. Quizzes every week which are mostly written and absolutely awful. Dropped this class and my week is 20x better without having to come to this class twice a week.

GO TO HER OFFICE HOURS! Cannot stress this enough. after each quiz, go to her and have her go over it with you because all midterm and final questions come directly from quizzes. Also, just spending time talking to her will give you clarity on how she wants things answered. She wants you to succeed and she will help until you do.

She is very hard but so great! She loves the material and she really tries to help you understand it. Extremely helpful and does want you to succeed, but you have to really work. Theres only one test, two papers, and the final, so youre not graded on a ton but she gives small reading quizzes and extra credit for attendance thatll help a lot!

Great teacher who really cares about what she is teaching! I would definitely recommend for people who really want to learn the subject in a conversational manner. You really need to take notes and pay attention to what paragraphs she calls out in the readings. I've also found that most of the stuff written on the board are test questions.

Jody is quite the passionate scatter brain. She means well but just doesn't get to the point half the time and if she does you are probably confused still. She has such a heavy course work. LOTS OF READING. Also, when we did get to discuss, she spent half the class talking and give us like 5 min, which got annoying. The class is doable though.

Way too difficult for an entry level philosophy class. If you don't answer questions with the exact wording she's looking for then she will count off. Definitely would avoid her at all costs. Put in more effort than any other class and still didn't get an A.

I took Intro to Ethics during my first semester as a freshman at Auburn. Dr. Graham has online reading quizzes almost every night before class, but that is more helpful than harmful. Her lectures clarify the readings. If you do the readings, quizzes, tests, and the one essay are easy. I had a 104 going into the final, so it is more than doable.

Great lady but not such a great teacher, lectures often go in circles and she grades very hard. There are minimal opportunities to bring your grade up.

Lots of in-depth readings. Homework submissions on readings twice a week, which don't hold any weight in final grade. However, if you didn't do them, she would penalize you. Doesn't give extra credit opportunities and can be picky about wordsphrasing on tests and quizzes. Lectures do not have a clear direction and often go in circles.

Go to class and take notes. I really enjoyed her class. She only gives one test but gives a lot of quizzes that are pretty straightforward and easy to make a good grade if you go to class. She also gives one essay that worth a lot of your grade but she gives plenty of opportunities for you to get help if you need it.

Lectures had no clear direction to them. Had to teach myself through the thousands of readings. Only 1 test besides the final. 70% of grade was literally the last week of class (40% paper and 30% final).

I got As and Bs on all assignments and got a C on one paper and ended with a C in the class. Her tests are a lot of fill in the blank and if you cant read her mind, it'll be hard to get the answers right. Grading was a lot harder than it needed to be. If you have to take this class prepare yourself for thinking you know something then being wrong

She always expects more from you than should be expected. I felt as if she was teaching the class like I was about to get my Ph.D. in the subject. She is very scattered and never organized. Nothing is straight forward and she LOVES to give you trick questions. You will leave her office hours more confused than when you left the classroom. RUN!

Graham is extremely scatterbrained & unclear about grading & assignment requirements. She is a very nice lady & helpful when you ask, but in lecture & in instructions on assignments, she talks in circles and wanders off on many extraneous topics that don't always answer the first question, partly due to subject matter, though. Work hard & Read.
