Amazing teacher! Great guy who gives fun lectures. Took his summer class (3hrs 15min) and it never went past an hour and a half. He understands the attention span of college students. Every assignment/test is open everything, including classmates. He actually helped us with the midterm! Highly recommend. Great guy, made me laugh every class.

I attended Professor Defazio's class in the fall 2015 semester. He is a generous grader. If you just do the work you can expect a decent grade. Sometimes lectures were a little on the long winded side, but that's a minor gripe. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

He is a really nice guy but N100 was extremely boring. I didnt learn anything in that class. He rambled on and showed stupid videos for 2 hours. The only reason I went to class is because attendance = points. Otherwise, I would have never gone.

Joe rocks - though he has way too much on his plate, when you actually get to sit him down 1-on-1 - he really cares about each student, and wants them to succeed! He is very supportive and helpful. A truly wonderful man!

Very nice guy. Sometimes things aren't explained as clear as they should be but other than that his class is pretty easy and fun. Honestly, I think the multimedia projects should be more challenging so students can learn more..they were really basic

Joe is the best and most insightful instructor that I've had in the New Media department at IUPUI. He's always there to help you with a project or give ideas if you need them.
