Reminds me why I dropped out in the first place. Doesn't completely answer a question, skirts over topics, and will be almost 2 weeks into ch. 2 before the test on Ch 1. Makes everything seem so simple then includes crazy stuff on his test. He really needs some instruction on how to teach since he doesn't seem to be able to teach to the test.

Sucks. Excuse me. Sucks sucks sucks. It's not enough, but it's better. Yells at you for not knowing material that you won't learn until a class two steps up, thinks he is Mr. Awesome (when, of course, he's the farthest thing from it), won't pull his head out of his butt and see the world around him. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!! I hope he reads this.

He is a really good teacher and really cares about teaching. His class is harder than most physics classes because there is really no extra credit kinda stuff like you find from most other teachers but I learned alot in his class

Oh. My. God. I hated this class. I don't think it was the teacher, but the material is very hard. He's nice, but the tests were impossible for everyone other than three people in my class. I would drop and take it at Southwest.

i took mr clarke for elem calculus. he was not a good teacher. yes you can ask questions in his class, but he never really answers them. he doesn't give extra credit and get frustrated when the class doesn't understand. all in all not a very effective teacher, i will be repeating at southwest.

Absolutely THE WORST teacher I have ever had. Complete **** (and I don't cuss). Will not help you with anything, can't teach for crap, has a horrific attitude. Thinks he is God. If you can avoid taking him, DO IT! If you can't, try another semester. I really hope he gets fired very soon - for your sake. I already had to suffer through him

The problem is not the teacher. The problem is the university's lack of being able to teach Algebra skills. Calculus is a small part of this course, Algebra is the rest. You gotta know your Algebra and know it well. Clarke is the best Math teacher that university has... He's tough, but you will know your stuff.

I would rather be awake during a lobotomy than try to get my questions answered by this man.Going to him for help is a deathwish.Anyone who asked him questions during class received his remark, "you should be in algebra." what a great teacher,thank god he never said that to me,there may have been drama

Perhaps the worst teacher that I have ever encountered in my short lifetime. I have no idea what fool would give this guy a good rating, mabe they wanted to be kind or it is clarke rating himself. Whatever the case, his inability to reach out to the "less" gifted was seen by everyone who now sits behind me in total anguish of there wasted semester
