Hands down by far the best professor, I am sure he is retired, but if you see his name on the roster, take his class. I am a nursing student and I had the pleasure of spending 2 semesters- bio 233 and 234 with him. He taught me so much and I have already utilized my old study guides in my nursing class. You will need to study and take good notes!

BEST LECTURES EVER! He also connects the ideas in anatomy so you understand the biggest picture. The lecture exams are based off of a study guide he gives you. They help you learn everything and some selcted things are on the exam. I worked hard, learned a lot, enjoyed his class, and felt it was fair. I also spent a lot of time in study groups.

The class is hard, but he does a really good job teaching and he makes sure you get what he is saying. the test are all essay form but if you study alot and ask for help you will pass. awesome teacher!

Best professor I've ever had in the past 3 years. The class is very hard and requires ALOT of studying time, all tests are only essay form questions, but it's not as scary as it sounds. If you study you will do wonderful. I learned SO much in this class and dr. Lafazia is one of the nicest people I've ever met.

An amazing professor. He made lectures fun and i really enjoyed coming to class. He is easy as long as you put in the work, he gives you a study guide and thats exactly is on the test no surprises. I walked away with alot of knowledge . I would reccomended him

Class was definitely a challenge. Exams are all essay form. If you don't put in the time and effort you will not do well. A&P is not an easy course to begin with, but his class was very tough. Expect to spend hours studying. Gives study guides but does not give direct answers to it. Not sure if I would take him again, just be ready to work hard.

Lafazia is the toughest but most amazing professor I have ever had. Currently taking him again for AP II! He presents a challenge that makes you WORK for your grades. And if you get a good grade it's a very rewarding feel.

Dr. Lafazia is one of the best professors I have ever had at BCC. His lectures kept me engaged from start to finish. He made me enjoy Anatomy. Tests are all in essay format, but he provides a study guide before each test which are very helpful. Fair grader and genuinely cares about his students. No extra credit in this class,so work hard and listen

Amazing professor! You don't need a book just show up for class and pay attention, what he says is what you need to know take notes. Always willing to help, have any questions you can go to him in or out of class, always answers emails. Test are hard but if you pay attention and study you'll be fine. Don't study to memorize study to understand!

Dr. Lafazia is arguably the best professor I've had at BCC. He cares about his students and will help you get thru anything you don't understand. His tests can be difficult; study and you'll pass. All tests are essay based questions. I would gladly take any class with Dr. Lafazia again and again.

Dr. Lafazia is a great professor - he invests a lot of time to ensure that you are learning the material. He's very good about answering any questions you ask him even in email. No multiple choice exams - all essays. Provides study guide prior to exams that are invaluable in the sense that it helps you ensure that you understand the material.

Excellent teacher, he knows A&P! He also stays current with what's going on in the medical field and ties medical journal studies into his lectures. I found his class to be extremely educational and interesting. The study guide's provided were helpful in preparing for the essay style exams, which I preferred to multi choice style.

Dr. Lafazia is an awesome professor. There is a lot to memorize, the class is tough. But, his lectures were very interesting and he was always willing to explain again if you didn't get it. Tests are based mostly on lectures. His study guide is basically all that's on the test. You will learn a lot and do well, if you pay attention and work hard.

I am currently taking his class now and although it is a lot of information, I am learning a lot. He only gives essay questions on tests, NO MULTIPLE CHOICE. You really need to study and take good notes. I did not use my book that much, I used YouTube for the visual assistance that I needed. Work hard, study hard and you will succeed. A+ teacher

Dr Lafazia is by far the best professor I have ever had the privilege of taking multiple classes with. I wish there were more classes I could take with him. Not an easy class by any means but well worth every second. Can't say enough good things about him!!

Dr. LaFazia is a good professor, knows his stuff and gives real life examples to help you understand material. Class was far from easy you have to put in the work. No homework and gives study guides for every test which questions on test come directly off of. If you show up, take good notes, and use study guides for tests you will do fine.

Dr. LaFazia spends most of his lecturing time on physiology and real applications of the material in health care settings. Tests are pretty exact to his study guide aside from 1-2 questions which usually come from the notes and are emphasized in class. No real due dates on lab assignments and just gives 1 oral lab exam identifying anatomy on a pig.

Comment:

This class is a lot to handle, but he makes the material easy to understand. Test are short answer form but the study guide he gives you are verbatim the questions on the test, aside from 1 or 2 surprise questions from lecture or text. If you do the study guide and study it, you're golden. Lab is very simple, 1 oral exam - labeling general things!
