By far one of the best teachers that I have ever had in Radford. He really gets the students involved and focuses the class on actually learning something and using your brain to figure things out as opposed to memorizing definitions. If you get the chance definitely take Josh! Amazing teacher.

BEST CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN. Hands down. Not only was it easy, Josh made it very intresting and I can't remember one class I didn't have a good time. If you want an A, take him!

Josh was awesome. I don't know if he is still teaching at Radford, but if he is, you must take him. Everything about Josh is cool, he even plays music at the beginning of class. Grades generously, evokes creativity, and has a foul mouth. Completely entertaining and he actually made me want to read things.

Best professor I've ever had. This is the kind of teacher that really inspires a student to WANT to do well. He is totally on the same level as the students and treats us as equals. He is also very talented himself-writing his own poetry. I actually really wish I could've hung out with him outside of class, he's such a cool down to earth person.

Josh is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is has an awesome hippy personality and great sense of humor. He makes sure to involve the class into his lecture but at the same time he doesn't force anyone to talk when they dont want to. He is always willing to help you out and never makes you feel dumb. He is an excellent teacher. Take him.

It's like this. If you want an A Take Josh. He's still a kid himself, he cancels class a lot, he always lets out early. His lectures are never boring because he finds a way to keep you in them. There's not a lot of work, he's just a stickler for due dates. He's an overall great teacher.

Great teacher! He doesn't belittle you or try to make you feel dumb. He reads kind of weird, like hippy-ish (if that makes sense). I'd definately recommend him! And when you do essay projects, you only have to come to class once a week! great :)

He's pretty good at teaching. I hate when he reads because he reads in monotone. I hate the fact that he sits right in front of me in class discussion. I do like how he does his papers though because i rarely have to go to class.
