Judy is an extremely knowledgable individual. In my experience, if you put the proper effort forth in her classes, it will certainly be rewarded. She is a dedicated scholar and professor, willing to lend a hand however she can.

Comment:

Good teacher if you just want to fulfill the music SBC. I skipped half the classes and still managed a B+. She posts lecture slides online and the majority of the grades are super short and easy opinion papers and the midterm+final. The class itself is very dull, however.

Comment:

She is really nice in that she doesn't want you to fail. I believe this is her first time teaching Rock Music, but she cares about the students. Her tests are not the easiest but if you do the reading and memorize the songs, you will pass with an A or A-. Be sure to work harder than expected. She also has a quiz almost every week.

I don't know how easy the rest of the ACH classes are, but this is a cakewalk, we just have one writing assignment a week of two paragraphs, and the class meets once a week, all you do is listen to different types of music and say how they are 'good' or 'bad' or why you think society has thought that, i think the class is interesting.
