I've participated in several choirs throughout my 19 years and Ms. Lane has to be one of my favorite instructors. She knows what she is talking about in terms of technical singing things and you can tell that she's passionate about singing. She'll joke with you and help you understand everything. She also won't single any one out, just the section.

MS Lane is a diva if I've ever met one. She treats everyone like they are below her. I took diction form her and she would call my tiny mistakes out in front of the class even though I wasn't the only one to make them. She pays major favorites and isn't even sneaky about it. I heard she was great in her hay-day but it's time for her to move on.

Ms. Lane.... She is egotistical, obnoxious, rude, and self centered. Constantly talks about God, feminism, and her beauty room. I was sick and absent and she wouldn't allow me to perform in the concert even though I knew my literature inside and out. She failed me. All because I dropper her voice lessons. SHE IS HORRIBLE. Do not take her class.

Ms. Lane is an amazing person, and this class really brightened my day and my semester as a whole. I not only learned more musical techniques, but I also learned a lot of life lessons from her. Great instructor.

This woman is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She truly cares about all her students and colleagues and there is nothing she wouldn't do for her students. I look forward to my time with her every week. She has helped my grow as a person as well as a vocalist.

One word comes to mind that rhymes with witch. Think of the worst person you've ever met and go a step further. If favortism is your bag and being taught technique from someone completly incompetent, who feels threatened by people like Mei Zhong (she should), someone who sabatoges students, then Kathy.. excuse me.. MS. Lane is right for you.

She is a wonderful teacher. Her class is a breath of fresh air. She has helped improve my musical abilities immensely. She has a unique personality that can make anyone smile. She has a genuine heart and shows her class every session how much she loves us. I recommend this class to any woman, it will brighten up anyone's day. we all love mrs. lane

She is a very poor teacher in voice techniques. She is also a very pretentious woman and treats everyone as if they are beneath her. She does not take the time to help her students at all. Do not take her classes if you can help it, they are worthless in knowledge and you have to put up with her Prima Donna attitude on top of that.
