Comment:

Attendance was mandatory, even though the lectures weren't very helpful. To do well, you MUST read the textbook. He gave quizzes every third class meeting, all of which were challenging even when I studied the book for hours. However, the final was easy and he wants you to do well! I ended up pulling an A, but it wasn't easy!

BEHAVIORAL NEUROSCIENCE was the class I took with him. It was extremely hard. There was an "optional" paper, but if you didnt do it you couldnt get an A. That didn't really make sense to me. Just make it a mandatory paper. I was surprised when i got a B. I think it was the optional paper that bumped me up. So do the paper! and read the book

I had a family emergency and missed a couple classes. Before I left, I talked to him, he said is was fine. Then I came back, he wouldn't let me make up my work. ( It was an approved absence ) He failed me after acting like he cared. What a waste of time.

He's not that bad. His lectures are interesting but you don't get much out of them. Just make sure you go to them!!! As long as you read the chapters and highlight them, before for every chapter quiz you'll do fine in the the class. I got a B and I usually make B's and C's

This class is highly textbook oriented. Read the book carefully; VERY carefully and you will do good on the tests. Class time is a waste of time because he does not cover most of the stuff on the test.

Terrible teacher. He lied about our final- we had to take the CLEP test which about 1/3 of the material on there we didn't cover. And we were tested on information from "extra credit" chapters on the final. BOO.

This class sucked bigtime. Going to class is a waste of time because he spends it telling the same stupid stories. (I went anyway) Tests and quizes are very hard. He also requires you to write a long research paper. I busted my butt for a B.

All I can say is that he wrote the book, and unless you plan to read the book cover to cover more than once, you probility won't end up doing so hot. All his lectures are story time, so he never ends up actually teaching the material.

The lectures are story time. He never stays on subject, and waste the entire class. He wrote the book, so you can expect the test are impossible.
