Comment:
Professor Pearce is such a nice person! However, I took this as an upper division major class and was disappointed. I honestly couldn't tell you one thing that he talked about during lectures, because he would just tell stories about his life. I don't think he really took the time to grade either, which is fine for a GE, but not a major class.

Keeping track of all the assignments you have and their due dates is so stressful, you'll want to rip your hair out. The disorganization of the class is insane. Good luck w this class. It's a nightmare.

Probably the worst professor I have ever had. He never gives a straight answer on ANYTHING. He rarely replies to emails and when he does he doesnt give a straight answer to a question. He is a tough grader and needs everything to be perfect in his way. You make one little mistake he takes 5 points off. This class is required for nurses so goodluck

Dr. Pearce is a super sweet man who cares about his students. While I loved him as a person, I did not appreciate how unorganized his class was. There is no course schedule which makes it challenging to follow along with the homework. Make sure you stay on top of the HW and visit his office regularly. Easy A though!

During most of his lectures, he would end up trailing off to unrelated topics. He was great during Abnormal Psych, but he was awful here. When he did stay on topic during lecture, it was often read verbatim from the book. I learned more from the book and my classmates than him. He is a lovely person, but this class was mostly him preaching.

Professor Pearce is really kind, inspiring and wise, but I wouldn't say his class challenged me to learn very much. The assignments are all pretty easy and he offers a lot of extra credit. It's an easy A for sure, but if your a psych major and it's important to know all of the material, he is not a professor to really nail in the information

Very easy class! Don't procrastinate on his assignments. Everything in the class (including tests) is due by the end of the semester. He also allows you to redo assignments for a higher grade and also lets you take tests up to 3 times! A great man of God!

Professor Pearce was a great professor! He really cares about his students and wants them to do well. His lectures were very interesting and got you thinking. He is a fairly easy grader and gives a couple extra credit assignments throughout the semester. Only thing is that he does go off subject and tell stories often. Overall, good professor.

Great guy. I wish all the professors were as caring as him. He is caring and gives you chances to make up work. The writing will seem like a lot but it is not. Strongly suggest taking him as a professor.

Great teacher. the class is easy, I would just recommend buying the book so you learn things. all of his lectures are from the book, and the tests are out of the book. The test are open book open note online. The assignments are reviews on the different theorist and are very easy as long as you read or take notes. Would definitely take him again

BEH100 is the easiest class with Dr. Pearce. He realizes 100 level classes are not meant to be extremely tough, so he gives you lots of chances on the online exams. His lectures can get boring but overall if you just need to take the class for a GE requirement, its an easy A.

HE IS A GREAT TEACHER. HE DOES ASSIGN A LOT SOMETIMES BUT IT IS NOTHING TOO HARD. ONE OF THE EASIEST TEACHERS I HAVE TAKEN. HE GIVES CLEAR DIRECTION AND CHANCES TO GET MORE CREDIT. THE CLASS WAS EASY, I WISH ALL COLLEGE COURSES WERE SET UP THIS WAY.

Class is an easy A! Doesn't have a course schedule with dates which was hard to follow. Offers 25 points of extra credit at beginning of semester. Really nice professor! Assignments, including midterm and final, are all word docs to be filled out and submitted - gives upwards of 3 weeks to work on each assignment. Very lenient grader.

Dr. Pearce is an amazing professor I have had him for abnormal psychology and it was a very intriguing class. We had to diagnose different patients and we also had a simulation which was a great experience. Overall, very easy class all you have to do is finish all the work and you are good to go. The homework and papers are VERY easy.

This class is so easy, all you have to do is do the assignments and all exams are online and can be taken up to 3 times with open book. He gives so much time to complete assignments, but be careful to not to procrastinate because it is really easy to forget. He lectures a lot, but not much of it is really useful on exams. He watches multiple videos

This class was very easy and just what I needed for that semester! The classes cover the textbook material and the tests are all multiple-choice and online and you can retake them multiple times. There is one group project, but it's nothing serious. Great professor to take to fulfill this course requirement and learn a lot.

Absolutely terrible. Avoid at all costs. I've had so many wonderful professors at CBU, but he just isn't one of them. He can't teach, I learned nothing, nice guy I guess, but just overall too opinionated. Talks so much, yet you'll learn so little.

Didn't really learn anything in this class. He had power points, but they were just topics which he tries explain. There were 4 online exams which are easy to pass. There are quite a few discussion boards, but they are easy to keep up with. This class is an easy A. I did not read any of the texts, but used them for tests.
