Professor Shriver was so helpful - whenever my TA couldn't answer a question, I could go to him and he always took the time to make sure I understood.

Tough tests, but 1/3 of students still get an A or A-, and 2/3 got a B or higher.

Makes his tests way to difficult. I've seen him be pretty rude to quite a few students as well. If anyone else ever offers physics lab I would definitely take them instead.

Do not take if you've never taken physics. Good professor and takes time to help students but the class if full of kids who've taken AP physics in high school. If your not very good at physics or just need a science take physics in the spring, much easier.

Good professor. Curved the grades which made it much more fair. Also, available for help outside of lectures. Tough class but really cares about his students.

if you dont understand physics, dont take this class thinking you will learn it. . .he is a nice guy but makes the tests really hard. he also said he would curve the grades in the begining of the year and never did.

Excellent teacher. Learned so much. He was always willing to help. He was willing to work with you on your grade. I failed 2 of the 4 tests and got Cs on the other two and came out with a B-. He has much opportunity for you to redeem yourself.
