His class is a bit boring but in total he is great. 90% of the exam questions from his lectures, so go to class. he may give extra credit without telling you( I suppose got 94 or 96 in final, but he gave me 101)

Some of the lectures are kind of boring, but it's a very easy class. The tests are taken straight from the lectures and if you study you should have no problem. He doesn't take attendance, but you probably won't do well if you skip. A big part of your grade is the diet project which is very easy, and the online homework is really easy as well.

GO TO CLASS. He won't post the lectures online. Write down everything on the slides and just memorize it and the terminology. There are a few questions where I had no idea where they came from on each test, so just make sure you have what you were given from class memorized. Not sure if this is normal or not but there were 5 bonus Q's on the final.

Dr. Huggins is boring to listen to, but go to class for the lectures because tests come straight from them. Make sure to do your diet project and assignments and you will do fine.

His class is lecture heavy but he is very easy to follow along with. Tests are exactly from lecture power points & a little extra information from the textbook. Diet Project is SO easy and he gives opportunity for extra credit. For sure an easy A.

Just do your Connect and your diet project and you should be fine. Most of the notes come right out of the book. His tests are fairly easy as long as you study.

He's a really nice guy if you talk to him after class. He's not the most amazing lecturer, but the material is pretty interesting. Tests aren't bad, but you will have to study more than you think. No matter how small the detail in the notes, it's fair game for the test. I did a lot better after making notecards.

Dr. Huggins is a tough about attendance. He actually yelled at some people & said if you aren't there on time don't even bother coming. Test are kinda hard, he doesn't give study guides. Not saying you should do this, but the test that I did the best on was the one I took after passing out drunk the night before. The textbook is online.

You have to be in class to get the notes, because that is what the tests are based off of. BORING lecture. He talks slowly and monotone and the class feels like it lasts forever. Tests have stuff from past chapters on them and tests are the bulk of your grade. If you bomb one test you're screwed. Take this with any other teacher or online.

His lectures are kind of boring and he talks for the entire time, but I enjoyed him. If you go to class and pay attention, you should do fairly well in the class. He's not really clear about what will be on the tests so they can sometimes be difficult to study for but it is still not too bad.

Comment:
Test averages are very low. He is extremely monotoned and will occasionally move the mic away from his face so you can't hear anything he is saying. I never missed a class and memorized his notes like the back of my hand, and still made a C in the class. He is no help in office hours and doesn't care about his students on a personal level.

Kevin Huggins is an interesting fellow. His lectures can be long, but as long as you understand what is on the notes, it will be okay. Tests come straight from notes and are 50 multiple choice questions. However, he did not answer my email once and I was a little miffed by that.

He really knows what he's talking about and is easy to listen to. Dont plan on disrupting his class because he will chew you out. All test material is based off lectures but tests are fairly easy

Macronutrients is hard therefore you HAVE TO STUDY. Don't expect to walk into a test with only gazing at the material. You have to put time into this class if you want to do well. Re-read the notes over and over. When going through your notes, go through the book so that you understand the material better. Tests are lots of application so think!!!

Horrible class. There's no text book to refer back. During summer session no graded assignments were given until the semester was almost over. Incredibly boring lectures. Not very helpful during one on one meetings. No type of grading rubric or standards. You'd be better off independently reading a book from Barnes and Noble and looked at research.

I had Mr. Huggins for Sports Nutrition and really enjoyed the class. His tests come straight from his lecture notes and he presents the material very clearly. He is a nice guy and personable too. Love the class!
