What an awesome prof. Although we didnt always stay on topic discussion was always intensely interesting and you always learned something. She also has a killer sense of humour. Hardcore essay grader though, do not attempt to half ass any writing for her. She will know. Picks great books and is always ready to hear what you have to say.Awesome Clas

Intro to American Lit. She was absolutely amazing. She really wanted you guys to get engaged with the reading. The books she chose were great with the exception of one or two. It's hard work but it really pays off. I would totally recommend this course. Just don't leave your work until the last minute. SHE CAN TELL!

Took American Lit with Wasson - I really liked the books she picked out, with one or two exceptions. Class discussion is ok depending on other students - she makes huge efforts to keep it going. Great sense of humor, dry&sarcastic. Helpful with understanding reading &with writing assignments. Also... she's hot. Take the class.

Kirsten is an amazing professor who knows how to stimulate discussion, and also is a very intuitive leader of a classroom. She is absolutely inspiring, relateable, incredibly amusing and a terrific person to take a class with. Only drawback is that attendance is graded... TAKE A CLASS WITH KIRSTEN!!

Prof Wasson is awesome. She's hysterically FUNNY (not to be confused with just being hysterical as was said in a previous rating... she's not hysterical). And her comments on papers are extremely helpful. Her grades reflect the effort put into a paper, and she can tell if it was a last-minute paper. Take her class!!! The discussions are awesome!

Smokin hot...very insightful and very accomodating...espcially when giving extensions on papers, so dont be afraid to ask...shes cool and makes good books even more interesting with insightful analysis...intro to american lit is a good class if youre up for some serious reading.

Kirsten is so much fun. She is the nicest lady and hysterical. She makes this class is a lot of fun and gets everyone involved. She is very fair, and easy to understand. Her comments in class are very helpful for future papers. The papers are okay, she gives us plenty of time, and she is a fair grader. Great class, great professor.

A good professor. The material is interesting for the most part, even if it feels repetitive at times. She's very good with class discussion and always has something interesting to say about whatever novel the class happens to be reading. She's also a fair grader as far as I've seen, and very thoughtful. An excellent professor.

Kirsten is very bright and makes every effort to aid class discussion. She's a tough grader and can see through any late-hour BS you might write in a paper. Very friendly and well-meaning, but class seemed unorganized. Overall, she is worth a try, and is always pleasant.

She was a very good teacher. I learned alot from her class. There were alot of books to read but the were very interesting. The discussions were and important part of the class and made sure we understod what we were reading and the underlying themes of the books. I loved the class and i recommed it

i worked my ass off, read all the books, took good notes, partipated in class, and really thought i learned a lot from Ms. Wasson... and thought i earned an A, but, nope, i didnt. I am a little frustrated with that. but, i loved the reading

she's great. Extremely intelligent, and she beings up lots of good discussions in class. She grades very fairly, and if you get your papers done early will go through them and correct them for you. I highly recommend her
