Dr. Garrison is a good professor. Makes us take the notes every night before class and in class, we just work on a worksheet with people around us. While it is a lot of work, I definitely learned a crap-ton of stuff having her for Thermo and Fluids. If you have an 85% average before the final you are exempt. Just hard to do Would take again

Great professor, really has the class taught well. Little lecture at start to introduce topic, and then immediately do practice problems similar to test questions. It a difficult topic and people blame her when they don't do well but its certainly not her fault. Great professor!

Thermo was the hardest class I've ever taken period. Although her lectures are sometimes confusing, she is very helpful one-on-one and outside of class. The exams are very tricky so study hard and practice.

Dr. Garrison is strict on units and attendance. She will hand you a notes packet that must be completed before the next class, which she checks. She stumbles and makes mistakes when lecturing. She tends to give vague answers when asked for help. As of now she's the only one teaching Thermo so be prepared going in, it sucks.

She is terrible at teaching and has been trying to get everybody for academic dishonesty for having the same equation as your lab partner. Just hope that they get someone new for Fluids before you get there otherwise you are stuck.

Calc is hard but she does everything she can to make it managable. 6 short tests instead of 4 long that other profs do. Lots of partial credit. If you put the work into the course you will get an A. Grades homework and lots of extra credit. Daily quizzes are pointless but boost your grade usually. Decent prof.

the class is hard, but doing the homework really helps your grade. each question is 10 pts, and u get 8 for having something written. before every test you get a pre-test and the answers, which is basically the same as the test, it was very helpful.

She taught 1/2 of this class and her half was awful. The material was boring which isn't her fault but her presentation didn't help matters any. She was an easy grader for this class and the class is worth taking for every Edu major regardless of instructor!

really nice lady, but such a crummy teacher. basically just reads notes off slides and that is about 95% of the class. some of the stuff is difficult equations and she just copies them down and explains nothing, then bam!.. test. stick with engineering and horses laura.

Great teacher. Explains things really well. She prints out copies of her notes then gives them to you. Class is always let out early except for a few times. Just follow her notes and do the homework and you'll do fine.

i did well toward the beginning of the semester but i've had trouble staying awake. she doesn't know how to answer students questions well and the tests are way harder than the practice tests. i wouldn't recommend her
