Laura was a tough but fair teacher. I know have 2 bachelors degrees and I can write one hell of a paper. I would not have done as well in college without the core writing skills she taught me. Anyone who did poorly in her class was lazy. This is college people its supposed to be hard!

I do not recommend taking this class online unless you are a seriously diligent student who is a decent writer. This class is extremely time consuming and unless you have a research paper topic that you are interested in, you will be bored for the whole class. The web page is set up really well, especially the 'calendar' portion.

She is the worst writing professor I have ever had. I got an A in the class, but I felt like I learned nothing. She is also rude to her students and makes them feel little, until the student has to kiss up to her and make Laura feel special.

i have taken many teachers for this class since i have tried it twice at RCC and a couple times at a diffrent college. She will push you, but this is only to get the very best out of you. She teaches writing, and doesn't concentrate so much on silly things

Laura is a great teacher, genuinely enthusiastic about the subject of writing. She truly cares about her students, and meet them on their level and help improve their individual writing skills from there. Never a dull moment in her class....constant theatrics and artistic whimsy. Highly recommended!

Luara is an Awesome teacher. You will get your moneys worth out of the class. So long as you attend class and do all the work your guaranteed to do well. She's also VERY Funny. Another great thing is she's very clear on expectaions. I'd definitly recommend her.

As a home schooler I had a difficult time keepping up with public school students in my age rage; however with Laura Hamilton's help I made the transition to the public high school with very little problem. I would recommend her to anyone who is willing to work hard and expects the same effort back.
