She is THE WORST TEACHER AT UAH! She is very hard, wants her students to fail. Grades WAY too strictly. Basically no one will get an A or enjoy her class. Her lectures are terrible. DO NOT TAKE HER!!!!!!!!

Man this lady is really boring. She is not a good professor to take. She only has four assignments (3 tests worth 100pts and 2 research assignments worth 50 pts). It is very easy to fail. Do not take her class!! I passed with a D but I am retaking!! hear me out!! DO NOT TAKE!!!

AVOID!! This class was way too hard for a 100 level class. She is extremely dry and boring, and if you fail one thing in her class you are screwed. Ridiculous amounts of reading. Disagrees with you opinions on the matter discussed. Only believes her own are correct.

DO NOT TAKE! She is not opened minded&everything you say in class she will disagree with. She has a very boring voice and out of 50 only 30 showed up, because attendence does not count. If you fail one test you are screwed B/c the whole class is only 400 pts total&you will spend more time reading for hw, she assigns atleast 2 or more reading a nite

A really great teacher. She allows time for discussion without letting it drag on and on. Her exams aren't too difficult as long as you go to class and do the assigned readings. She does include a couple of projects that are actually fun, but do count for a good bit of your final grade.

I went into the class dreading it, but Theory turned out to be my favorite class last semester! She is really helpful as long as you seek her out. Tests are really hard to study for since there is so much material and only 2 tests. Three papers-I didn't have any problems though others did, she allowed us to rewrite any bad papers. A great class.

she was one of the best professors i have ever had/interesting. All of her tests were the same and the final wasn't ****malative! You knew what to expect. The test were complicated cus it wasn't just memorization you had to know the material and then think about it. But the majority of the test was multiple choice 1 essay with a couple projects

If you're truely interested in sociology I can imagine you would like her. Tests are kind of tough but making sure to read every assignment will help. She is very enthusiastic about what she teaches but I found myself dozing off more and more near the end of the semester.

This teacher is horrible. She doesn't make any sense when teaching her lectures and makes everything boring. Her tests are extremely hard and have essays on them. She only gives 3 tests and 2 project grades so if you fail one test you are pretty much screwed!
