She's very straightforward with her requirements. This class will involve the students teaching the material, not her. The tests are pretty much straight from the book. You HAVE to get the book; presentations in class will not be enough. Attendance is mandatory. Pop quizzes that are super simple are common. This is an easy class if you try.

Positives: She is a nice, caring teacher. And she will do whatever possible to help you. Negatives: Very opinionated to the point that it's kind of annoying. Her tests are also very difficult because she is really vague on what she wants you to study.

She was very moody. She begin class happy, then get mad, and often end class crying. She was also very confusing and her test did not make sense. Often times when taking her tests or doing assignments it was like taking a shot in the dark.

Like most teachers in Education Depts everywhere, nice, well-meaning Dr. Stokes shows up and collects a paycheck. She does offer some useful off-the-cuff anecdotes about teaching, and yes, she does seem to "care about" the students, but so does my mama. All-in-all, another easy 'A' and lots of my time wasted--welcome to the world of "education".

scatter-brained is an understatement! she was not prepared to teach this class, & after a whole semester, she is still not prepared. she has no clue what is going on in class & is useless when it comes to...anything! i'm pretty sure i made an A, but i can honestly say i worked my butt off & she had nothing to do with it.her tests are also confusing

Dr. Stokes has been under-rated. She really does care about her students...so what if she forgets to do trivial tasks...she ALWAYS comes through in the end. Once she wrote a letter of reccomendation for me on very short notice and even enclosed a note wishing me luck on my interview. Get to know he
