She is the most caring professor I have ever had. She cares about your emotional well being and your education. You can talk to her about anything. She keeps class fun and is always singing, dancing or playing the piano. Most of the assignments are group/partner assignments. She is always willing to talk about your grades and help out how she can.

I love her so much. It was a great class to have fun while also learning about Children's Theatre! Had to see four shows, and there were some fun projects throughout this class! TAKE HER YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

She is a fun and loving woman. There is not a lot of work in the class and class time is given for all group assignments. Other than that there are 6 quizzes with clear study material (I spark-notesed plays and looked over class notes for 10 mins before each class and made As), and 2 play critiques. SEE THE PLAYS. Easy A just go to class!

She is so funny! Easy class- 6 quizzes, 6 projects with your group, 2 play critiques. It sounds like a lot, but I promise, it was the easiest class I took. I just looked over my notes the day before a quiz and it was an easy 100. No text book, just print out notes and bind. Not a hard grader- put in effort, get an A. Would love to take again!

So much fun. great class and great prof. straightforward tests, exactly out of handout, easy quizzes. good break from reality. lots of busy work but if you do it how she wants you will get an A. She is very friendly and offers advice and laughter. easy A

I am a Business Major and going to Dr. Turner's class is like a breath of fresh air. It is the only time of the day when I can actually laugh and have a good time. If you do what she says, its an easy A.

She is a very sweet person and the class is easy. It does get kind of annoying sometimes b/c she gets off track a lot. If you are a sit down and listen to a lecture kind of person don't take this class b/c participation is necessary.

Seriously the most amazing professor at CofC! She loves what she does, and she's amazing at it. If you show up and do what you're supposed to, you'll get the A that you deserve. It's not rocket science but you have to do what's expected of you.

I'm a health major who needed a humanity.She's nice and definitely take for easy A,BUT prepare to experience alot of crazy. I felt like I was in kindergarten again. My breaking point came with the far fetched discussions on topics like how the arts should replace PE (my major) and sports programs in schools

Great humanities class. She's fun and realizes everyone's not an actor. She's very understanding and is on your side. Quizzes that you switch w/ the person next to you to grade, few homeworks and plays in class. Easy A! Plus it's fun.

I LOVE HER! If you have the slightest interest in theatre, take her. She is so fun, and she is always willing to help. You have to attend a lot of plays, and that can get expensive at $10 a pop, but they're totally worth it. Lots of group work. Six quizzes. The final is a 10 minute original play written by your group.

BEST TEACHER EVER!! Honestly i love her. SO nice, SO down to earth, and really understanding. Great as a person, great as a teacher, makes the class so much fun. Even if you hate theatre going into it, you'll leave with a greater appreciation for art and a happy dispositon. A++

She is a great teacher! She is very nice and funny. She remembers that this class is an intro to theater class and most are not serious about theater. There is a a lot of group work and frequent quizzes but they are really really easy(multiple choice and matching) EASY A!

Really nice woman, great teacher, but lots of work for an intro level, especially near the end (and esp. if you're the play write of your group). Very group oriented work. Truthfully I only read one of the plays (which I'd read before) and still made an A. Not difficult at all and often very entertaining. Great rapport w/ class.

You will never go wrong by taking a class with Laura Turner. She loves what she does and she is so good at it. This is a teacher that cares, she is fun, and you learn. This was the second class I have taken with Laura and if time permitted I would have taken more. Give any of her classes a try, you'll have fun.
