I?m surprised at the bad reviews. I like Dr. Froehlich, and I respect her, especially after I got to know her a bit. She expects a lot, but if you put effort into your work, you will have no issues with her. I had some group issues in her class, and she was very fair in handling it. She puts effort into nurturing a student?s academic interests

I remember reading the reviews for her right after I found out I had her instead of her husband. Her last name is Froehlich now and she teaches en100 he teaches en140. Most people that have reviewed her are morons... just participate. I've gotten A's on all my essays. She gives a 100 point revision grade per essay so make your rough draft bad.

Dr. Gordon is probably the most helpful professor I've ever met. She is always offering her help and tips to improve your grade in the class. Be ready to participate in class every day; she is big on class participation. She will also make you laugh.

Dr. Gordon is nice, but she assigns a lot of reading. Expect at forty to fifty pages per class period. Her tests are all essay! Not an easy class, but if you participate in the online forum and do the readings, you should be fine.
