Though prone to rudeness and repeating herself she is very knowledgeable. Like many UWF science classes one wonders where the test material comes from and exactly how this information is going to translate into earnings potential. Answer: It won't!

She all but gives you the test, ofcourse you have to be an adult and study and yes show up to class a little early. What would be better her letting us out early and saying just read the book anything is fair game for the test

She starts lecturing before class is supposed to start and runs overtime! She is very knowledgeable about botany, but she doesn't realize that not everyone is! She is very unhelpful! She is very bland and boring and she looks like a gnome!

The worst, least helpfull teacher i have ever had! Her tests are extremly hard, theres not other class work besides the tests and does not offer extra credit. Be prepared to teach yourself and to read like 1000 page handout book!

AMAZING teacher. It's very clear how much she loves the subject, her tests are very easy, IF you keep up with the lectures. She has an outline of every lecture which she sticks to fairly well. Talk to her out of class, and she isn't looking to get rid of you, she tries to draw more questions out of you! I loved this class

Very nice lady. If you listen to her lectures the class is VERY easy. Her voice is soft, so make sure you're not sleepy before class or she'll put you to sleep. I enjoyed her class very much and she liked to answer questions if you had any.

I rather enjoy the class. Her test's are pretty easy and it all comes straight from the notes. She deff. knows what she is talking about and explains it in a way thats easy to understand.

I studied forever for her multiple choice "trick question" tests and could never do good. Her questions would be like: is it A, A and B, B and C, or none of the above. What kind of testing is that?

Pure. Evil. I had A's and B's in all my other classes and I got a D in her class. I went to her for help with the material AFTER studying on my own and with a tutor and she told me I had a learning disability. Avoid this woman. She is a devourer of souls.

very monotonous, answers her own questions, gets impatient with questions in class. however, she's really knowledgeable, and gives you all the information for the tests--it's just that there's so much of it to remember! definitely study every day if you want to pass this class!

this was one of the most boring classes i've taken. i dreaded going to this class. mrs... oh excuuuse me, DR winter was sooo boring. she's monotone and she finds ALGAE interesting! nope, not me. stupid waste of time, if you ask me. i dont see how this is related to my Electrical Engineering major.
