Comment:

I found the class very easy, it is really basic math that you should be able to do. There is homework every night and she will go over the harder questions of it. She gives 6 quizzes and lets you drop your lowest quiz grade. I also found it very easy to make appointments with her when needed.

For a required class it was very difficult to understand and very random topics to focus on. Would not recommend taking unless you are math oriented.

Comment:

I took her for Philosophy and The New Technologies. The class material was very interesting and she is very entertaining as a teacher. There was a lot of work- midterm, final, and 4 papers (the first paper didn't count though), but I was able to do very well and I am not a philosophy person at all. The class is mostly just about your opinions.

Very sweet lady, however extremely hard! I studied and tried so hard and still got a bad mark. I personally found this to be to hard

While Dr Levin is a funny and entertaining teacher, this class was very hard. I did terribly, and not because I didnt work. I slaved over this class but she did not count anything but the midterm and final, which led to my downfall. had she counted HW and participation, I would have done much better.

Her classes are really interesting and she's very entertaining but her tests are very long and her papers are tricky. She wants students to do well though and is always willing to meet with you and discuss ways to improve.

She is a very harsh grader!! Yes, she can be funny. Her papers consist of difficult topics. Her midterm was fair but I was surprised by how many points she took off for me. Not everything she teaches makes sense- and she leaves out a lot of critical info. She is very understanding though. Wants students to do well. So its up to you...

The class can get a little overwhelming at times, but the awesomeness of this teacher makes it all worth it. She's excellent. And she isn't as strict with handing papers in on time as you would think. ;)

She's an amazing teacher. If you have a head for math and understanding those types of things, logic was an awesome class- i really enjoyed it. BUT- know that there is homework every night and it could take a while sometimes.
